Anyone on Yakju got the 4.0.4 update request? I've got an unlocked bootloader with 4.0.4 onboard already, was afraid this is for yakjuxw devices (it shouldn't be right?)

Added on April 23, 2012, 6:19 amNevermind, I see it's an official update for Yakju, shall proceed with it ;-)

Yup got mine updated. Supposed to fix the signal. Didn't encounter much of a signal drop before in the first place, but I know a location that can act as a litmus test biggrin.gif

You can go to System Update and try again. Make sure your phone has got sufficient battery level left. Better still, do it while charging.

Unroot your GNex before update -.-...
Make sure you only Apply OTA if you NEVER do any modification, include root! and busyboxed and deodexed!

Unroot! I thought root is ok for OTA as it hasnt made any major changes to the file system... ok ok, will try that tonight.

FLASH BACK EVERYTHING to stock before OTA smile.gif
I'm sure you can OTA, and please don't OTA if you have mods, this causing unable to boot.

For those having update failed. Please remove CWM, it will fail because of CWM recovery. However, rooting is fine.

No need lock -.-...
Direct fastboot flash all 4.0.4 files using cmd or toolkit is best way. Like this you can safely OTA....
