Yakju? or YakjuXW?
If you are yakju, force update it *#*#2432546*#*# and wait for ‘checkin succeeded’ notificationimmediately turn phone off, and turn it back ongo to settings>about phone>system updates and… voíla. The updates waiting for you. You’re welcome.

It will only work when your area is ready to receive the update and your phone hasn't done a checkin to the servers itself already.

Received update notification 21-4-2012.File size 708 kb. Here my success method.
Use root keeper (download from play store)This is to keep your root intact.
Once you received the OTA dont install it.
Use ES file explorer and locate the update file /cache IMM76I from IMM76D zip.Move the zip file to internal SD.
Delete /data/recovery file
Reboot phone to CWM v5.5.0.2 and install the update from SD .
Once success your nexus will change build number to IMM76I with out loose root access and unlock bootloader. All your data is intact because this update don't wipe your phone .
I notice signal improvement and stability (Celcom) .Signal strength much more . -70 dBm 15 asu HSPAP:15
Note: This method for stock yakju 4.0.4 unlock bootloader, rooted and CWM install on nexus.

[NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR LEAN KERNEL! IF YOU USE OTHER KERNEL PLEASE DON'T USE THIS METHOD, REMEMBER DIFFERENT KERNEL, DIFFERENT MODIFICATIONS]

[DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT GONNA RESPONSIBLE IF ANY TWEAKS THAT CAUSING MALFUNCTION OF YOUR GALAXY NEXUS]

Now I shall proceed there are two ways.

Ingredients:
-Lean Kernel regards of stable or exp versions. (Latest Version is better, some old version kernel of his not support colour multiplication)
-Lean Kernel Tweaks v13.3 for colour multiplication support you may download from here and flash in CWM without wipe (Optional for lazy code writers)
-Terminal Emulator (Get from Google Play, its free)

[WARNING: IF YOU HAVE MESS WITH AOKP ROM CONTROL COLOUR MULTIPLICATION AND GAMMA SETTINGS, YOU HAVE TO REFLASH BECAUSE BY DEFAULT ONCE YOU SET, IT WILL SET AS BOOT AND WILL NOT CHANGE VALUES.]

Method 1: Via echo by using terminal emulator and must have lean kernel installed.
-IF you have never revert any settings on AOKP rom control, kudos for you this method is working.
-Open terminal emulator and type.
CODE
su
echo "1800000000 1920000000 2000000000" > /sys/class/misc/colorcontrol/multiplier
echo "-4 0 5" > /sys/class/misc/colorcontrol/v1_offset
echo "6" > /sys/devices/platform/omapdss/manager0/gamma
reboot

Method 2: For lazy people like droid13579 who hates write codes and have flash Lean Kernel Tweaks v13.3 and must have lean kernel installed as well.
-IF you have never revert any settings on AOKP rom control, kudos for you this method is working.
-Open terminal emulator and type
CODE
su
leantweaks

-You will see tons of options please select "3".
-Now select "1"
-You will see three options select "3" and set the Red Green Blue Values to "180 192 200" then select "7"
-Main menu then select "3" and select "1" and this time select "1"
-Select "1" and select "Ezekeel settings which is 4" then select "10"
-Select "2" then Select "1" set the Gamma Values to "6" then select "5"
-Now select "17"
