You'll be pretty happy if you can get this:

If you have to open so many tabs, I recommend maxing the RAM out at 8GB.

Battery life depends on each laptop, can say the average 14" one can do about 4 hours just surfing the web. Some of them, like my U41SV can do up to 8 hours surfing due to its high capacity battery and lower power consumption.

The issue caused by using TIM instead of fluxless solder for the integrated heat spreader? Nope, wouldn't be a problem for mobile IB since mobile CPU don't have need for an integrated heat spreader. And besides, the heat issue only appears if it's overclocked.

Technically, U41SV is EOL after U46SV came out. But then again, the only U-series that is being promoted now is the U32U. Which means the U36 and U46 are now EOLed.

actually i can set the budget to 3k or maybe 4k...but cos i seldom using it, only 2-3days per month...feel not worth spend too much

Asus's warranty extension is very expensive, not exactly worth it...
For Acer, its better that you extend the warranty nod.gif
