QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jun 18 2012, 09:02 PM) Dell laptops serve best with the warranty, so if you're planning on getting one, do extend to 3 years warranty. before 1st year warranty extend to 3 years right? dell AMD poorer than nvidia gt650? main question, is that screen resolution 1367x768 and 1920x1080 is a big different when you playing FHD videos and video game?Otherwise, go for other brands instead As for your question, it all depends on what you want to use your laptop for... If gaming performance is your top priority, then the Asus would be the better pick because of the more powerful GT650m dedicated GPU. If you're only gaming abit and prefers a laptop that can be used for some photo/video editing etc., then the Dell 15R SE with FHD would be the better pick~ |

Yup, extend to 3 years on-site warranty Yes, GT650M is more powerful than the AMD HD7730M.. Yes again, the difference between FHD and HD resolution is significant and clear |

Yes, preordering isn't risky at all if you're buying from large stores. After all, you'll only be paying a relatively small amount of deposit My advice is you go for preorder, because as what Itachi has mentioned, there is a chance that you might not even be able to get the laptop you want after a few months because of the high demand and the low supply from Asus |

QUOTE(deejay14 @ Jun 19 2012, 01:46 PM) hi! i need a recommendation; Hmm, your preferred screen size is kind of broad 1. Preferred Brand: ASUS 2. Budget: maximum RM5k 3. Usage: connect with medical device and will be using lots of medical sofware, 4. Preferred laptop/screen size : more than 11' inch Does these "medical softwares" require alot of processing power? If not, then I guess an ultrabook would suffice.. Portability is important right? Or will the laptop to sessile? |
