Dell laptops serve best with the warranty, so if you're planning on getting one, do extend to 3 years warranty.
Otherwise, go for other brands instead nod.gif
As for your question, it all depends on what you want to use your laptop for... If gaming performance is your top priority, then the Asus would be the better pick because of the more powerful GT650m dedicated GPU.

If you're only gaming abit and prefers a laptop that can be used for some photo/video editing etc., then the Dell 15R SE with FHD would be the better pick~

before 1st year warranty extend to 3 years right? dell AMD poorer than nvidia gt650? main question, is that screen resolution 1367x768 and 1920x1080 is a big different when you playing FHD videos and video game?

Unfortunately portability and gaming doesn't come together sad.gif
For pure performance at the expense of portability:
15"
Asus G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP
MSI GE60, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + Bluray@RM4199, 8GB, 1TB(7200rpm), W7HP, 2 years warranty, gaming mouse & backpack, Free SteelSeries QCK Mass mousepad

For relatively lower performance but slightly more portable:
15"
Asus N56ZM-S4079V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650M + (1920 x 1080) + BluRay@RM3599[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 1TB

Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional

Lenovo Ideapad Y580, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + Bluray@RM3399[JBL], 8GB, 1TB HDD(7200rpm), W7HP

Yup, extend to 3 years on-site warranty nod.gif
Yes, GT650M is more powerful than the AMD HD7730M..
Yes again, the difference between FHD and HD resolution is significant and clear hmm.gif

Yes, preordering isn't risky at all if you're buying from large stores. After all, you'll only be paying a relatively small amount of deposit hmm.gif
My advice is you go for preorder, because as what Itachi has mentioned, there is a chance that you might not even be able to get the laptop you want after a few months because of the high demand and the low supply from Asus

Hmm, your preferred screen size is kind of broad hmm.gif
Does these "medical softwares" require alot of processing power? If not, then I guess an ultrabook would suffice..
Portability is important right? Or will the laptop to sessile?
