i saw Hotwheel F430 again today

And again i didn't buy it doh.gif doh.gif

Spotted it in Toy R Us going for Rm119.90, cheap is cheap but it's with all sort of stickers on the body, still ok with it as it's Shell/Pirelli and etc but the one i cannot accept is the Challenge 14 sticker. Make it so ugly IMHO. sweat.gif  sweat.gif

Guess it's some race event edition unsure.gif

And my search for F430 continues.... sad.gif

haha seems hard to find the hotwheels we win hoh......... we know many model for hotwheels..... but the problem is finding it doh.gif

Hi all, I'm also a big car fan...

Spent a couple of days readin this interesting thread, and wow... u guys made me realise that the die-cast world is not just about Maisto and burago... The Autoart and Hotworks models look very detailed!!

My 1st die-cast is a BMW318i (1981?) 1:18 from Maisto. I subsequently bought a Jaguar XJ220 (1:18 by Maisto) and a 1989 Merc 500SL (also 1:18 by Maisto).

I've a few pics of some other cars in my tiny collection to share wif u fellas...

Renault F1 car R25 driven by Giancarlo Fisichella (1:18 I think, by Hotwheels)

Aiming to buy my 1st Autoart or Hotworks car soon... also targetting the Hotwheels F430 (quality not bad) / Maisto DIY 1:24 F430 (that day went Melaka Jusco cannot find sad.gif)

For Autoart/Hotworks, my budget not more than RM250 ---> anyone can recommend 1:18 cars within the price?

Normal hotwheel cost bout Rm200 in Malaysia but for those latest/popular AutoArt it's easily above Rm300(YOu can try ToyCity, even worse that they price Autoart stuff at Rm450 doh.gif doh.gif ). Unless some old models like the Subaru Ver 7(Bug eye) which i once saw going for bout RM159.90.

welcome to the thread! ur a big fan of f1 too? btw, its nice to see ur collection here... thumbup.gif collecting diecast is nice as long as u have to the passion on it... slowly u can see ur collection grow larger and larger and u will feel satisfied... rclxms.gif bearbear says it rite, nowadays aa models are more expensive especially the newly released... the bad news is tat u cant expect those new ones cost below RM260 anymore... maybe the cost to produce these models has increased...

btw, i kinda worry the price of new f1 models would be increased as well... sad.gif and i have no idea either we will get 2007 f1 models this year onot since mattel itself has lots of issues regarding the safety of their products, which hotwheels is affected as well... sleep.gif

I stopped following F1 after Schumi retired biggrin.gif Nowadays I believe the race is much more open with a lot of talented youngsters/rookies... I used to support the Sauber team (patriotik rclxms.gif ) when they had Kimi, Heidfield...

sad.gif RM260 I still can tahan and consider... but RM270+ will onli spend if special occasion (birthday, Christmas tongue.gif), and of course if special car... I don't mind old models though (like Evo IV - VI, old Lambos)...

If go Sg leh... can get AA around RM250 there? How bout Hotworks 1:18 scale at RM250... possible, no?

It's in a place call Palm Beach, south of Surfer Paradise and Mermaid Beach or Nobby Beach. The shop has a blue sign board called Model Cars Pit Stop, located beside the Gold Coast Highway.Looks pretty old and it's ran by an old man. He's quite friendly but i cant really understand what he says due to the Aus accent.

The price of the model cars in Surfer Paradise is ridiculous.A Jadatoys 1:24 car cost RM100+. shakehead.gif
