hi, i would like to know where can i buy 1/18 scale die cast such as autoart streetcars, formula one, WRC cars in KL???
if not wrong, i think KL has a big market for die cast and i would like to know where are the places i can look for these die cast models... some people told me in shopping centres but which shopping centres???
are there also any individual shops that are specialized in die cast in KL??? please tell me about this... THANKS!

autoArt and minichamps can be found Nikko MidValley. Hotwheels f1 cars can be found at shopping stores such as Jusco, Parkson, Metrojaya. Most of them are last years' car.

I think Nikko KLCC close already  sweat.gif

do you have pics of your car collection? if you do, post it here  smile.gif imho, maisto & hotwheels 1:18 cars are easier to find than minichamps in Malaysia. Last sunday when i visit Toycity KLCC and MidValley, they sell old minichamps f1 cars.

Recently i juz purchased a 1995 TOYOTA SUPRA in 1/18 scale... it is a version featured in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS movie which was driven by Vin Diesel... the car is produced by a manufacturer named RC2.

last nite went to a hobby shop found this 1/18 SUBARU IMPREZA japanese police car made by AUTOART...
user posted image

i oso found this 1/18 LEXUS IS 350 2006, oso from AUTOART. however the packaging is far different from other models... it seems like any kind of special edition which quite similar to the MILLENNIUM SERIES packaging. so the price is very stunning!
user posted image

another car tat caught my eye is the 1/18 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO police car ... dono from which country but it looks cool to me... it is produced by MAISTO and cost around RM130.

do u you guys have any collection of KYOSHO die-cast??? KYOSHO is basically specialized in remote control cars... but the company does produce minor range of die cast... and i can tell u that the die cast quality is extremely superb. i think the quality is better than autoart... unfortunately this japanese company mostly produces american and european cars... i bet it costs very very high for a die cast model...

here is the example of the product from KYOSHO - the BMW 545i Sedan (E60)

notice the wooden interior parts and the silver gear knob are so stunning!

QUOTE(MetalZone @ Jun 18 2006, 10:48 PM)
Mine's in Bayside blue. I posted pics in page 2. Post #34 and #35
I've personally seen them in yellow, white, nismo grey, and black, besides bayside blue. They all look good.

At the moment I still can't find any REAL Nismo Z-Tune Z2 models. All those pics u see online are using the same old bodyshape as the normal V-spec II's, which is actually similar to the prototype Z-Tune, except it is nismo grey and nismo stripes. But the final version that was sold and limited to 20 units is nismo grey, with no nismo stripes, and with wider front fender wheelarches, has a wheelarch strip at the rear, nismo bumpers (the top of the nose at the lights is pointed outwards, not flat), LED rear lights, and has air vents at the top corners of the front fenders (near the side mirrors). Those Nismo Z-Tune's u see just have the nismo hood with vents, but missing all the elements of the 20 limited edition Z-Tune Z2 final release.
If I can find a full spec Z-Tune Z2 model, i'll definately consider buying.
This is the Italian police's one and only Gallardo. As far as i know the only gallardo police car.
I've seen pics of police Diablo's as well, including from japan. They have all sorts of jap sports cars as police cars as well, including the R34 GTR, RX7 FD3S, NSX, Imprezza WRX MY05, Evo's, Galant VR4's, Mitsu GTO.

ooo... nice car u have... sure u wont regret of having a SKYLINE R34 in ur collection... Im lack of a SKYLINE R34 streetcar so i juz feel quite 'empty' towards my collection.

so izit easy to find a 1/18 Skyline from AUTOART in KL? btw, besides Skyline, i oso got see a FAIRLADY 350Z tuned by NISMO... if not wrong, i think its called S-TUNED...

user posted image

do u think it is a worth and good buy?
