they are starting to become arrogant and cash in on the buyer side as they realise the car is popular... standard protocol. The salesman so arrogant when i view the car, no test drive, with the attitude of you want you come, you dont want fuxk off... Really disappointed.

may be just a specific case. the word 'they' that you had used might give other good salesmen a bad name.

This is universally true when it comes to car salesmen, sad to say

However, I think Mazda salesmen are better than some of the others - based on my experience (always wearing t-shirt, shorts and slippers to test drives)

i am not trying to say mazda is not good or what, infact i love the cx5 alot. But the problem of not having a test drive unless you pay 1k deposit which is fully refundable is lame. We are buying a 150k car. I feel like throwing 1000stacks of 1 dollar note just to show him i am not happy. their attitude is really...but otherwise its a really great car, if i have the chance to test drive the car, i would have already gotten the car now. really disappointed. And btw, my location is in JB, which dealer i wont disclose.

Yes, the warranty & free maintenance package is the same as the CBU.

the RM1k booking fee is fully refundable. However, please ensure it is with each SA or dealer you're buying from. If they refuse to give you a guarantee, its better to give it a miss and try with another.

Then these people definitely don't deserve your business - just look for another one, it not like the products that they sell are exclusive to them.

Even Lexus, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz lets you test drive

This LANSI statement is true for Mazda PJ branch..

Went there with wifey looking around CX-5 in Mazda PJ (next to Kia and such).. no one layan woor... so great meh about Mazda? except MP-5 the rest are overpriced as well same like T and H... (yet they still layan us).

I drove Ford TX3 before which is mazda 323 equivalent, trully marvelous car and still smoke some of the 21st century cars... but the attitude of the salesperson really bad..

But then again, I went to BMW and VW also no one layan.. well I guess its just my look that not convincing enough..

T and H salespeople are good but sorry that their products just not within our list of SUVs candidate..

We still have limited units for CBU, but limited stock left only. Expected delivery 2-3 months.
