Have you send it back to a Mazda service centre for a complete diagnosis? I would recommend sending it back for a thorough check.

My advise for CX-5, is select your color now and place a booking with the dealer of your choice.

For the downgrade of 19" to 17", I'm quite sure Bermaz will compensate accordingly, however, a check with tyres people, 19" got a supply issue atm. This only applies to people who booked their CX-5 pre-July 2012.

Also, we're a new Mazda 3S & Tribos Centre, so we do not deal with past bookings, hence, new bookings with us will have the advantage of first come first delivery concept since our CX5 allocation does not include previous bookings.

The best feature of the CX-5 at the moment are the accessories it comes with as well as the FC for an SUV range vehicle. Not to mention the Kodo design which is really nice at the moment.

Bose sound system, SunRoof, etc..etc.. From the customer feedback I have with our customers who came for their service are pure thumbs up & no regrets.

Its unfortunate for the fiasco about he 19" though, else it would've been a perfect choice. But put the 19" aside and you still get very good SUV for your driving pleasure.

It all depend on which dealer you've booked or thinking of booking with. This is due to the queue for old dealers since they've accepted bookings from April onwards.

For new dealers, you should expect around 2-3 months or even faster.

Just to inform that we can deliver CX-5 booked in January sometime end of February/End March now!!

Also, Mazda 6 should be ready for delivery in March / April as well. So book fast (All bookings are fully refundable)

Getting it pre-CNY will be difficult. I cannot promise delivery pre-CNY, but End Feb/March will be a definite YES from us. If you want, you can cancel your booking in your current dealer and re-book it with us.

As for discount, its usual in the market for new hot selling cars for having no promo.

Can't say for sure, cause End FEB/Mar cars should be shipped out from Japan around Early Jan, however, those might be the last production batch of 2012 from their Hiroshima plant in Japan. It might be mixed, but I really cannot say.

Will have to sniff around to get you an answer, however, my guess is that those are still 2012 cars.

Rumors are it will be launched around Q1 of 2013, so expect to see the real car soon on display. In the meantime, I would suggest look at the pictures available from Google.

Last date to book would be by Mid Jan in order for us to deliver your car by End Feb / March. As for freebies, why not drop by over our showroom and we can discuss over it

As for the CKD units, until official info are out, we can always speculate. However, from normal practice in the Malaysian industry, we can expect the usual downgrade of certain specs.

CBU are currently from Japan while CKD are scheduled around May-July.

The CKD version is coming soon, and might replace the CBU version. Try to book fast if you want the CBU version. Estimated delivery time is now 1-2 months.

Once the CKD version is available, delivery time will be definitely faster.

Can't confirm, but rumors are the below will be removed

1. Sunroof
2. BOSE sound system

19" wheel already replaced with 17".

CKD version is confirmed without Sunroof.

As for freebies & others, my advice is to discuss further with the S.A and they might throw in something. However, this will depend on how genuine they feel you're gonna sign the booking with them.

As for trade in, please pm me the details and I can roughly give you an estimate (not guaranteed to be accurate) on it.

FYI, there's now LIMITED units left for the CBU version as CKD version booking is now opened (Expected delivery end May/June).

CX-5 CBU version is already on limited units left. All new bookings should be CKD version now.

So far apart from us (Mazda3S @ Jln. Sungai Besi) there should be few more dealers have balance CBU allocation left.

No promo on cx5 cbu as limited units left.

For those who got or already booked , you can now be very proud of the Mazda brand. For those who are still considering, better decide faster as CBU allocation is limited. The quantity available for booking is getting less and less everyday!!

IMHO, i think the best way is to get your dealer to change the color if possible. But that might come with another wait. No other dealers can get you your car by End of March even if you cancel your booking and re-book with another dealer/branch. Worst still, you might be getting a CKD unit instead.

We got allocation for SKY BLUE CBU units but delivery won't be in End March, perhaps End April or even End May.

Hmm.. have you really discussed with your current dealer on color change ?? Cause if its coming End of March anyway, they might be able to change. Also, have you checked that they will 100% refund your booking fees as well if you cancel ?? Its gonna be a hassle if they refuse. So best to get everything allright first. Nope, the last batch of CBU units will arrive around End Feb or End March. However, delivery of these units might be longer due to the Customs & PDI process.

CKD units will roll out around May/June if I'm not mistaken. They need time for the CBU units to clear from the stockyard anyway. So won't be surprised if its delayed.

I have available allocation for SKY BLUE CX5 2WD CBU after checking my list. However, the best is to provide a 2nd preference just in case.

Its about $8k cheaper than the CBU version and confirmed without sunroof.

Yes, the warranty & free maintenance package is the same as the CBU.

the RM1k booking fee is fully refundable. However, please ensure it is with each SA or dealer you're buying from. If they refuse to give you a guarantee, its better to give it a miss and try with another.
