Some sales person told me can get the car before CNY, but not sure if it is true.
Anyone know about it?

May i ask when will CKD start for CX 5.

And where the CBU unit come from ? Japan or Thailand or Indonesia ? As looking forward to test drive the car this weekend. ^^

Any comment on maintenance from current owner

No news about CKD yet although I heard some unofficial rumors.

The CKD version is coming soon, and might replace the CBU version. Try to book fast if you want the CBU version. Estimated delivery time is now 1-2 months.

Once the CKD version is available, delivery time will be definitely faster.

What items do you think will be unavailable from the CBU in CKD?

CKD version is confirmed without Sunroof.

As for freebies & others, my advice is to discuss further with the S.A and they might throw in something. However, this will depend on how genuine they feel you're gonna sign the booking with them.

As for trade in, please pm me the details and I can roughly give you an estimate (not guaranteed to be accurate) on it.

FYI, there's now LIMITED units left for the CBU version as CKD version booking is now opened (Expected delivery end May/June).

How about the BOSE?
Thanks for your info!

i am not trying to say mazda is not good or what, infact i love the cx5 alot. But the problem of not having a test drive unless you pay 1k deposit which is fully refundable is lame. We are buying a 150k car. I feel like throwing 1000stacks of 1 dollar note just to show him i am not happy. their attitude is really...but otherwise its a really great car, if i have the chance to test drive the car, i would have already gotten the car now. really disappointed. And btw, my location is in JB, which dealer i wont disclose.

I've deal with a SA at Permas Jaya
Quite not bad smile.gif

kmarc , which branch/dealer did you book from ?? Perhaps the manager has a few cancellations in hand that he can transfer. So you might be the lucky one smile.gif

As for my personal preference. I'm actually torn between the White & Grey. Here's my outlook on all colors except Zeal Red.

White
Executive and dashing look. Gives me the feel of a semi luxurious SUV. There's also lots of modification options. Black bonnet with dark tints makes the car look like a somebody while on the road.
Washing is gonna be a problem. However, Tribos makes it easier than other white.

Grey
The street car SUV look. Smoked Headlights & tail lights, change into a black rims and some dashing sticker on the side body and you get a CX-5 that is gonna be sending this message to onlookers "Don't mess with me". HAHAHAHA.

Sky Blue
Awesome color and looks really nice. However, it will be too attention seeking and without much things I can add on to make it standout. Though this might mean its cheaper (for me) to own this color.

Aluminium Silver
The normal color of any executive look. Plain, simple. The pro is less washing maintenance needed and even if its scratched or chipped, its not really visible. This color is very suitable for people who value the driving experience and interior and not the exterior. Of course, with the money saved from exterior looks, I can invest in a good sound system and insulation for the car. But if CBU, already got BOSE.. so no Silver for me.

Kinda sad after reading this because I booked a Aluminium Silver cry.gif
but i stil love it though tongue.gif

I think they will tell that they will update it when you are coming to the 1000km service.
