Hi, im just intall new ICE for my car:

*Kenwood KAC M526 2 ch 350W amp x1
*3 way speaker (rear) x2
*2 way speaker (front) x2
*HU: Kenwood KDC U353R

My ride: Myvi
My Prefer: SQ/SQL
File format: CD/Radio/USB
Genre of music: All kind of music

Need some advice, should i install pre-amp or any other component?

Where to tune my sound system (not very good at tuning)

your amplifier is powering the front spk or rear spk or all spk?

All spk

means youve lost the fader function, we need fader control for tuning purpose----

we dont need a preamp, because we alreday have one---the HU is a preamp, any electronics that before amp/got volume control is a PRE-amp

in your situation, the best way is to change a component for front and use the amp to power the front.....................

can opt for some mid range HU/component set. else could get entry lvl HU/component set and maybe an amp to drive the component set too with a bit of top up.

at the moment i already have a budget HU which fits the slot
maybe just components and amp will do??
and btw what is the difference between components and midbass?
im a bit noob at ICE lol

2-way component set speakers have tweeters + mid bass and a passive crossover (frequencies filtering)
3 way has an added mid, and mid bass will be pushed to play lower frequencies mainly and have the mids do all the upper mid frequencies reproduction

folks active on this ICE forums and are highly recommended are EA autoworks (howiechoo, at bukit jalil area), Audio creations (carcrazy aka victor, at damansara ara NZX area)

then theres also KF audio at PJ aman suria area

Hey guys, i need some advise. Im planning to fix a Alpine PDX-M12 Monoblock and a Alpine type X sub. any one using this setup? need to know is it worth installing?

my setup currently is:
1) HU: Alpine 9855
2)Alpine PDX 4.1(4 channel)
3) Focal Utopia 2 way component speakers
4) full set of Monster wiring and RCA
