My budget is 100k not 75k... Preve totally out for me tongue.gif
One is a trusted technology and getting a lot of awards yet another one is not yet matured so many things are still their first time biggrin.gif

perhaps most of the people who are ready and decided on buying a car above the 100k range would not go for preve. it would be somehow 'downgrading', just for an example where you decided to get a 3 series but you just ended up getting a camry.

For the majority of Malaysian, people will try to stay away from Proton if they can afford a 80k car. tongue.gif
Proton happily aiming 4000units monthly of Preve... Let's see thumbup.gif

4000 monthly, kinda stretching. Afterall, P2 has a better image than P1 but it would sell nevertheless. Inspira is not doing too bad. More for the people who wants some cheap thrill and good power.

Well specs and price wise they are great on paper. People will wait and see what happens after 6 months if the gadgets starts failing.

What I hate the most is their after sales services.

But during the power of one event they only got 500 bookings sweat.gif
Actually Inspira was far from their target sales. Proton aimed 1500 monthly but they never achieved that figure. That's why they gave crazy discount. biggrin.gif

Huh? 4000 monthly.. not again...

Syed Zainal: "Please do not blame Proton, Proton produces 700 cars everyday, which is equivalent to 98 seconds per new car. We do not have the time to check/ QC on Proton's spare parts."

Let me make it clear. I've boycott proton no matter how cheap it is or how long the spec list. They have screw up our auto industry for 20 yrs and still posting a lost. Look at how well Thai is doing, region hub for most car productions. Without potong, we would have been the ideal location for auto regional hub bcoz no major natural disasters. Now we r paying a bomb to own any car non-potong (except naza who seem to have some special relation w them). And also look at Wat happened to elantra pricing and launch delays

i concur with this even though i'm driving a wira now.. biggrin.gif you hit it on the spot when saying that they're are the fucuking reason why we need to pay so much more for our cars. heck, even proton is overcharging us. The thundercats are DIRT CHEAP overseas.. so double whammy for us.. shakehead.gif mad.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Lets not go that route again la. We can rant and rant but nothing gonna change. If potong can improve their quality (by a lot) it should do well. But I would not want to be one of their beta testers.

well.. after overcharging, uber protection from our gomen, they can still post a losss... what gives??? really doh.gif

but good point. if they can up their standard to say like perodua.. i'll be happy.. no doubt the preve has some freaking good specs.. as you said, quality and reliability remains the question smile.gif

actually there is no 'standard' in perodua or whatever. what they did right was bringing in a car that hits the target market in Malaysia right in the bullseye. hence, the undefeatable myvi. its funny cause when you look into perodua's line of cars, you need no less than 5 fingers.

With Bank Negara's strict ruling on auto loans affecting mostly the lower income group, it will be good to see how many units of the Pariawei they manage to sell. No use with having strong demand when banks won't approve the bloody loans. Stupid policy IMO. Grinding the nation to a halt.

Actually Forte 2.0 still have better spec than Preve. tongue.gif
Proton still giving better spec to other countries. They announced the Aussie Preve will get 6airbags and ESC standard across the range but Malaysia max only 4 and IAFM don't have ESC and make do with 2airbags only. Proton really should learn from the Korean even Picanto got 6airbags and VSM.
