well if it makes you feel better, i concur that features, acceleration and most importantly PRICE still belongs to the Forte 2.0. no brainer there.. but i cannot in any way justify the forte having better built quality (both interior and exterior) and ride comfort compared to the elantra.

Item 5 I remember we have. Must feel it with ur hand, it's a latch hidden beneath the boot door. Only downside is u must have the key with u to open from back, just like smart entry door.

Nikrizals SA say he can get his 1.8 by next week but he's not from kl, my SA also cannot give date

I asked HQ yday during my test drive she said the cars are coming in next week also

i am not from KL too

anyway, it's better for SA to say "don't know" rather than simply "create" a date.

All SA's will claim to have good sales. Every showroom ive been to (other makes included) have always claimed good sales. So i will always take that with a pinch of salt. Bookings also may be high but how many actually translate into actual registrations? Many of those bookings are ppl who arent aware of the new BNM ruling.

Btw, there will never be any discounts or freebies for new launches. Discounts are usually offered to boost sales or to clear stock and this will only come later.

i had hard time deciding mazda3 2.0 and elantra 1.8 too... at the end.. due to the rear seat in mazda is quite clampy and then i placed booking on elantra 1.8... hope i wont regret later on

hmm.. think gonna be at least on par wt 308T price....
reliability/parts are still troubles there.. else, it win over a lot of cars....
