QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Mar 30 2012, 09:58 PM) Probably will, it's located above the rear view mirror. So have your tint technician cut around it, same for the autolight sensor. huh ? cut around it will make the tint look cacat or not ?u mean autolight sensor also located at the same place as rain sensor ? seems like i have to drop my super dark tint dream liao. |

QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Mar 31 2012, 02:09 AM) Tinting don't adhere well to the black borders of a windscreen, the part near the rear view mirror has like a protruding border so the tint technician will cut a piece to go around it. thanks bro for the explaination...Light sensors are small diodes anyway, so even if you cut a small hole around the tint to compensate, it won't leave a gap that's overly offending. This might be what happen if you have tinting interfering with autolight sensor. Tested on a Starex. Windscreen cannot put tint that is too dark anyway, JPJ not approve Live in Penang Island for so many years, not even seen a JPJ road block before, from Georgetown area to my house. So JPJ not approved is not an issue to me |

If solid is the main concern. Go get German made. No one can beat German in term of solid.
Their car is solid. Their national football team is solid. Their economy is solid. Their technology is solid. Their ex Nazi solders is solid too. German = Solid |

QUOTE(Kalist0 @ Apr 1 2012, 11:59 PM) have fun waiting, SD pulling another 'Elantra' on us. went to showroom today and asked about veloster and guess what, estimated launch August and price around 130k. owh yeah. from q1 to q3. SD should be called Slow Darby. Launch August is ok if they bring in turbo version.anyway, gf's bro confirmed everything and finally when we asked if delivery's possible and the faggot said, actually you need to wait for 2nd batch, first batch are for those who have 'booked' way before. we expected that though. dint had a chance to test drive but i did 'molest' the car and built quality aint that bad, even compared to the civic but somehow, lost the oomph that i had for the car. now the interior looks, plain. Btw, where did u place yr booking ? SG.Pinang ? This post has been edited by tony: Apr 2 2012, 12:07 AM |

QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 2 2012, 09:11 AM) How big is the batch? Golf is decent enough to be a family car already. Slap the H logo on Juara, suddenly Juara looks so good and sales will instantly increase. That's the power of Honda in Malaysia. Thanks to our hybrid scheme so at least honda can sell their CRZ here rather than struggling in North America and Europe Added on April 2, 2012, 9:14 am Later many people will start bashing and saying not worth it coz Mazda3 MPS only 175k with 256hp, go for japanese better |

anyone can recommend a less noisy tyre ? that continental tyre is so noisy when speed above 50...or maybe because it's too quiet inside the cabin ?

QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 7 2012, 11:59 PM) SD is really confusing. My SA told me Red is available in first batch and 1.6hs can get car within a month. Santorini only 2nd batch Haha..they are confusing. I asked my sa why only see 1.6hs and 1.8 in most of the show room. SA so upset, saying that dont know SD really wanna sell the 1.6 std & manual or not. His manager cannot even find a single 1.6 manual & std in inokom gudang.Added on April 8, 2012, 12:01 am Ice blue seems very popular. But i am worrying that the colour may fade as the waja one |

QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 8 2012, 03:59 PM) If Elantra's legroom cannot fit anyone above 170cm behind you, then you can forget about Altis, Lancer, Mazda3, Inspira, Forte and 308 as well talk about rear head room and legroom..i purposely sit at the back and let my wife test drive. Based on my own test using galaxy S2, I'm 174 and Elantra can fit my fist plus the length of S2. None of the above cars are more spacious than Elantra so you may consider a Sylphy coz it should fit my both fist plus the length of S2 I am 180cm tall and yes, if u sit straight at the back, the roof is just inch away, but who's gonna sit straight at the back for the whole journey ? talk about leg room, my knee didnt touch the front seat at all for the whole journey. are those testers all big size american or what ? or they are expecting a legroom of a limousine coz the price are 10k more than forte ? |

QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 8 2012, 09:13 PM) I am not so sure with the tyre brand. but Elantra 1.8 one quite quiet for me oh. But too bad my 1.6 is NCT I definately gonna change the continental tyre to low noice one once i get the car.The gearbox of Elantra is very responsive so it will downshift once you deepen the gas. So you need to be gentle with the throttle Actually not body very light, all because of the steering coz there is no feedback at all. So it is down to your habit. I have used to their steering so i am fine with that. |
