...but hate the price. I'm wondering how the local distributor for LEGO weight and assign the retail price for LEGO... even though their official pricepoint are the same.
For eg.
Creator Set us$25 ... becomes nearly rm110 (thank you! thank you!)
BUT for Avengers set us$25.... becomes >rm150 here . huh ???
Izzit because they (local distributor) foresee the desirability of Avengers (or other licensed sets)... they push their luck and markup waaaaaaaaaaaay higher ?
I know it was expensive when I bought it, but the set was too hard to resist anyway. Besides I think this set is the most laku of all the Avengers sets. There seem to be more Magneto+Wolverine+Deadpool sets laying around than this set.
That is why for license sets if got lubang better get it from overseas. If just want the minifig might as well get it from Bricklink. I have not seen the Hulk helicarrier yet, maybe it cost a bomb not many retailers willing to bring it in. I see the Batcave also wondering why so expensive, somemore it is the dumbdown version of the original Lego batcave.
I saw Brickboy got the T-rex with sky crane set for RM 350+

Nearly pengsan look at that price.
In fact I think the large sets are overpriced. Some examples:-
The Friends house; I bought it for 99,000 Korean Won. Here it costs RM 360
Police Station; Overseas cheap only, about RM 400, here RM 550
Destiny's Bounty; Believe it or not, only 99,000 Korean Won. Here RM 400+
Space Police III Galactic Enforcer; I remembered that time in NZ about RM 400+, here RM 550

which country sell the cheapest lego? planning to parallel import them in future for business
The US sells the cheapest Lego. Just go to Lego Shop At Home and compare the price here. In fact sometimes those TRU, Target, Walmart all knockdown the price to BOGO or even bigger discount. But take not some out of production Lego is very expensive.
