Reposting from PVC thread lol

..Ahh before you freak out, I have gotten that status before, when the delivery guy didn't manage to deliver it to me..
Try checking the code next to it? The kastams office and the poslaju office usually have different codes.

On the upside, if kastams are really determined to tax 15% regardless of price, I'm going to save on shipping lmao
I wont need to bundle my loot into small little < Rm500 packages anymore, I can bundle them all up and ship them all at once.

you sure 15% for all toy regardless the price limit?
if like this, LCCT will flooded with people.

I just paid for revoltech siggy, let see if she can get through.

Exactly. It doesn't seem particularly plausible. There are so many people buying and shipping things in every day of the year the entire office will be swarming with angry people from morning till evening. I kinda doubt they suddenly got fired up enough to want to put in extra effort for their jobs too.

Speaking of which, I just received a parcel from Amiami moments ago. smile.gif

EDIT: It seems a bro from the Diecast thread has also just received a parcel via EMS today without problems.

I don't think you should be worried about this package.

Its released by custom office as indicated on your tracking "Departure from inward office of exchange"

The retention is just indication that the item will be delivered or tried delivery but failed to delivered and sitting in pos office (You'll receive the yellow pick-up slips or the poslaju notice)

Yeah, same here... just receive package from Poslaju as well, value above RM700+ but there's no problem with the package (and not stop by custom as well) ... so my guess is, will just wait and see if anyone with items exceed RM500+ faces such problem (btw... figures and dolls are fixed at 10% tax, 15% tax will be applied to other category...)

Haha I understand that much bro that's why I didn't bother copying and pasting that link over from the Diecast thread. The guy has also been similarly advised by his fellow thread members there regarding this matter. Though there are still a few guys over in that thread that has their stuff held by the customs and still trying to appeal. Gotta follow up with their cases to see how things are going to turn out in the future.

Hahaha no they wont. In my experience, although they want to see what's inside, they will ask you to open the package in front of them, that's all. You definitely don't have to unbox the figure itself lol.

word of advice if ordering ecchii stuff value after shipping exceed RM500+... is go through proxy... declare lower value to avoid custom (but paying slightly more due to proxy) ...

that way you don't need to worry bout opening ecchi stuff infront of custom official ^^

I was really afraid they might tell me to open it up for them to check when it happened, because something similar happened while I was in Philippines a long time ago. The security saw a big block of black stuff in my bag, must've thought it was explosives or something ;w;

but most proxy asks for around 10% of the price of the item... that makes avoiding custom no difference? coz custom also charges 10% tax..... well, the good thing is no need to open in front of them la sweat.gif

But what is this proxy you speak of? Can explain how do you do it?
Kinda noob in the art of deceiving....

On a unrelated note,
Are dolfie considered "ero" product and warrant to be seized/fined?
Or just the tax of 10/15% for a product over RM500?

there shouldn't be any issue with dollfies. personally had 3 shipped to me while i was in malaysia and i've not even had to pay the customs tax. each doll were 700+/- usd in total. (they're from a korean maker - when i got my dolls from volks, i brought them back with me physically)

but a friend here who i shall not name unless he wishes to share had his dollfie from volks taxed when he had it shipped.

which makes me come up to the conclusion that somehow if you were to get korean dollfies - no tax! japanese? - tax!

What's the declaration of yours? Some shop do underdeclare or declare as different items to avoid tax
