In that case for heavy downloaders, sure can fill up an entire external hard drive in no time if using Unifi. I mean, right now I have filled up a 1Tb and 1.5Tb hard drive (2010, 2011). I still have another 2.0Tb and that's about 200Gb left. All done with - - 1Mbps Streamyx! So imagine if 5x faster.

Of course, you would have to want to get what you want instead of blindly downloading everything. I'm thinking it is fine now since no download cap, but once got cap surely there will be a "sense of carefulness" with what you download even if yet to reach download limit.

Unifi also I believe has no cap on P2P at the moment?  hmm.gif

Don't want to jinx anything but I use to use a nice 1.5Mbps Streamyx (not 1Mbps) and that was taken away.  sad.gif

for media i am using my tiny netbook to do all the download then transfer to external hdd for collection and then watch with the media player on my home theater system, i know i got to get something more powerful to enjoy unifi hehe

Perhaps you might want to try use the official firmware that supports UniFi?

i just receive sms ask me to view my bill on https://occ.unifi.my. I thought the bill will sent to my hotmail. For some reason i cant login to the site. I press forgot password but no email sent by tm to reset the password. Im think maybe TM enter wrong email detail for my unifi application.

Should i call 100 and ask them to give me the pw and id or is it possible to ask them double check the email address in their database?

follow instruction from www.klseet.com and search for your model, no one from unifi can help you regarding changing router because the only router that they know is "DLINK 615"

Hi guys, I was so delighted when I read about the TP Link W8960N being able to be configured for unifi. As you all know, the wifi from unifi sucks. I followed the configuration according to http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...id=86&Itemid=81. In the end, IPTV was working very well but I could not connect to the internet. It says no internet access. I tried changing the priority of the internet from 0 to 1 and back to 0 again. Is there anything I am missing here?
Since the IPTV is able to receive packets, I guess I must have done something right here but what did i do wrong? Hope to get some suggestions from everyone here. Thanks =)

Hi, does anyone know if a DIR615 G2 is flashable with the DDRWT firmware? I have a friend who said he was successful doing it but when I uploaded the firmware file, it failed to flash.

What method did you use to flash? The right way is to use 'emergency room' mode.

Indeed it is the emergency room mode. Followed rizvanrp's guide, doesn't work & I have same router as my friend, he was successful, I am not.

Running v7.09 btw...

I believe the newer one can, but not sure about it. You may try it out, otherwise, if not then flash it with the older one.

I'm still using the original D-Link DIR-615 from UNiFi.
I'm thinking of upgrading into WR1043ND, but after seeing so many complaints on the official WR1043ND thread, I'm not so sure anymore. sweat.gif

I'm not sure how much that one is but why don't you try opting for ASUS RT N13U (to me that price range router is good enough)

Yeahp but in his post he also provided a 7.05B firmware, which I thought I could flash to downgrade it, which failed, too.

I need gigabit lan, so ASUS RT-N13U is a definite no-no.

I'm thinking of ASUS RT-N16.
