There's a new Wireless Gigabit Router from TP-Link.
Was hoping someone could tell me if this router can be used to replace the stock D-Link UNiFi router.

Cheapest I've seen so far in this forum is RM209.

Though without UNiFi functionality, TP-Link TL-WR2543ND is rather useless.

That's the thing.
2MB/s will cut my current download speed in half since now I'm already using VIP 10.
I believe torrents will enjoy the full speed of the 2MB/s now that direct download is nearly dead.

But I'm afraid when I want to downgrade later, TM will give lots of excuses no to allow me.

PS: Is it true torrent doesn't eat the download cap? Yes I know the cap hasn't been implemented, but it will be sooner or later. Just hoping they don't cap torrents as well.

They will terminate your Streamyx and also terminate your old house phone number and replace it with a new number.

for VIP 5 torrent max speed i  can get 640kb/s
And I'm getting 1.2MB/s downloading torrent.
Yet it still take a few hours to complete the download of a full hd movies. tongue.gif

That's why I'm thinking of upgrading.
An extra RM50 for another 10Mb/s. LOL.

Try and download from MediaFire using a download manager like IDM or FDM (Free Download Manager).
If you're not getting 1.0MB/s ~ 1.5MB/s, then something is definitely wrong with your UNiFi connection.

Are you using laptop or desktop?
If you're using desktop, the best choice is to buy a PCI / PCI-E WiFi adaptor if you want maximum transfer speed through WiFi.

Then your best choice is to use PCI / PCI-E WiFi card.

Nowadays you can buy a 300Mb/s PCI-e WiFi card from as low as RM39 from eBay:

Anyone in here can help terminate a Streamyx account without any penalty?
My father wants to upgrade to Maxis Fibre 10Mbps. His Streamyx is less than 1 year, so still in contract.
