Just wanna let you guys know, I bought 1043ND for RM145 at viewnet. On the price list it is higher... you'd have to ask the staff at the network section for a discount.

What method did you use to flash? The right way is to use 'emergency room' mode.

RM155 is a good price. At LYP the RRP is RM159.
Try running the router 24/7 and see if you encounter the issues mentioned in this thread .

Won't recognize as in you cannot see the SSID? Or simply cannot connect?

It does support WPA, at least for TPLINK since I've tried it.

Call the unifi hotline and explain about your problem.

Well I don't think that is their SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
During my last 2 Unifi installations (I've had 5 in total) the contractors told me to call the hotline if there's any problem... and coincidentally during the installation I heard the installer telling someone on the phone "lain kali you jangan call I.. you call hotline unifi terus".

Just... explain in detail to the operator. If you're really desperate just turn off the fiber modem, call the hotline and tell the operator that your Unifi is down.. you'll be asked to do the standard turn off turn on unplug replug shit.. just say there's still no signal on the fiber modem.

For troubleshooting purpose I think you should reset the router (by pressing the reset button) and reconfigure everything again and see if it solves the problem.
If same case, time to do your 1 to 1 exchange with TPLINK.

As for problems... none that I know of.

Got an interesting story to share bro. Remember I applied 2 Unifi accounts with you? One on 4th floor the other 5th floor. No additional charge at all.

Around last month my boss applied by himself for another 2 accounts for a lower level via his contact... and additional charges were incurred despite being on a lower lever (therefore easier to install).
Didn't want to argue because it was urgent, plus he agreed to pay.
Told the contractor that the previous two contractors didn't charge anything. He and his colleague replied that they will be happy to pass the job to previous contractors if I don't want to proceed with the installation. They were also surprised when I told them the previous contractors didn't charge anything extra.

I was also informed that the system is now different, previously TM would use 2 teams for installing Unifi (one to pull the cable from DP room/FDP/ and the other team to continue from the FTB) but now there's only 1 team so the cost is supposedly lower.


I do remember the previous two contractors; the ones in charge of pulling the cable babbling about not making money with the installation though..
