Well, how about all the mentioned or reported issue E.g., green tint, AF etc?

wAIT OR gRAB?
*
nikon says green tint is normal, and cannot claim warranty.
AF issues they working on it.

The AF issue could be hardware or if lucky just a firmware upgrade... if its hardware its going to be really troublesome.

Im an ultra newbie so im still keen on getting a D800,

28 1.8g seems promising, But probably gonna skip since i owned 16-35 f4

Question for u guys who thinking of getting D800,

wait or grab?
*
I own the 16-35 too
previously wanna get the 24 1.4g with the D800
but will get the 28 1.8g instead now
the primes are better for street shooting flex.gif

thus far have yet to hear any AF issue from the D800E
most probably it has been solved by Nikon, hopefully
it is no coincidence that there are no shipments of D800 for the past 2.5 weeks, I'm thinking they are sorting out the AF issue before the next shipment
even u got the cash there aren't many D800 around now, so you can only wait whistling.gif

Hahaha! And the 'ISO' rating is better than the 5D3. Must be the way it is measured giving D800 the edge.

the way they measure, it's scale down to 8MP, for all the cameras

Added on April 19, 2012, 9:50 pmwhat a way from Nikon to shut the mouth of those who whine, rant and complain that Nikon is stupid, dumb, idiot, clueless to released a 36MP

the fairest way to compare is to downscale it to 8mp

28mm 1.8G is quite cheap for N lens, finally nikon made the most affordable N lens in the market thumbup.gif

What's the advise for getting a photo printer, use will be mainly for work/client/presentation, max i'd print would be an A3 size but unlikely it will be on a routine basis. budget <rm1k

I'd buy a Nikon if there was one.......

Swt as it turns out my drybox analog meter is really off. I used a microcontroller and a temp/humidity sensor (took me all afternoon to code it) and it reads nearly 32% difference from the Analog meter.

user posted image
when its 26% humidity on digital, on analog its nearly 58%. So now im lowering the fan speed and try to raise the humidity a bit.. 26% is too dry right? Will crack the rubbery nikons away...

On the down side is that the analog meter cannot be tweaked or adjusted. So I guess I'll go out and buy a digital one and replace the analog one. doh.gif

it would most probably look the same up to iso3200 at 22mp
funny thing is canonrumors ppl are all in denial mode
hahahah and to have someone as the admin of the site saying the results are fake
canon ppl should come up with another website for camera testing and include factors like camera availability, that way they could trump Nikon like no tomorrow! tongue.gif
