Scared me till death. My phone suddenly unable to wake up. Means the screen just go black. I called with other number, got ringing. But screen is sleep. Then i take out the batt, put back again, now everything work fine. Phew. Dang not even 24 hours old. =.="

Did any of you face this thing?

Always la.. but most of us are using custom ROMs, so could be a variety of factor, kernel, Over Volting/Under Voltings etc.
Stock ROM should be more stable I presumed.

Next time, no need to take out battery. Just pressed the On/Off button together with the home screen for 8 seconds, then your phone will go off. Just turn it ON again afterward.

Hmm...What is your kernal? Have you tweak CPU? If the lowest cpu MHZ too low, sometimes it cannot wake up after sleep.

try to monitor, if still persist maybe some app causing the problem

guys I got a problem wif my sgs2......I alredi stated my problem awhile a go....n tried to fix it but...I think i'm out of luck..... this is my problem:

Whenever im playing my music while using earphones n lock my screen off....it tends to hang...n the only way to make it working again is to take the battery out or by clicking the power button for a few sec....I tried factory reset, using other media player, using different earbuds......the weird this is...it only happens when i put the earphone on....

Any suggestion guys?....really need help here....^^

Using stock rom. Not change anything. Hope this will rarely happen to me. Huhu..

Yeah. No apps yet. Still virgin. Even home screen still stock one.
Will try play later, and monitor it. Kinda bz these day. Bought it yesterday. And use like normal phone.

Im kinda NOOB about customizing android phones....the only thing I do is jus installing apps from market....n ....thats about it i think .....no I din undervolt my phone....

1. How to transfer files from pc to phone and phone to pc?

2. Does the phone eat up alot of battery? I on 3G the phone sucked to 25% in 4 hours.

The only reason for this app is to collect the mentally challenged trolls - who never read the description this far - complaining about every app. Or you can fool your friends with this nice 'charging feature' if you like.

1. Transfer files, you need to install the drivers via kies, then just plug. Do not run kies after that, because you only need drivers. S2 will be like a thumbdrive.

2. The phone cannot consume the battery, it has no mouth or digestive system. But in terms of depleting the battery's charge, I would say it really depends on your usage. For me 1 day I can get by probably until 50%.

If its empty, probably means its gone.

Also, need recommendation on power saving lock screens and wallpapers... i want to make my phone as power efficient as possible...

I have done the following:

1. Off mobile data (3G, EDGE, GPRS etc)
2. Off wireless
3. Screen brightness set to 20%
4. Off GPS
5. Off Bluetooth
6. No active apps

Next steps
1. Power saving wallpaper and lock screen.

Anything else i can do?
