To those who are using XXLPQ ROM,is your voice related apps working?

AndyX ICS 7 is so stable compared to wanam. Too bad the icons are not ics, but seriously not a single FC or hang so far. Impressive.

bro, did u try to delete contact in AndyX rom v7.0? will it cause FC also???

Yes tried and no FC.

Just flashed mine and testing it now as we speak.
The keyboard is qwertz? WTF. Yeah, don't like the icons, not stock ICS.
The messaging apps are in black, even though i change the background to white, nothing happens.
I still prefer the messaging app in resurrection. For the contacts, can't scroll between tabs (again.. not like resurrection)

Will probably revert back to my trusty old rom in another hour

Because official ICS launched few days ago. Samsung never promise an ICS release date in Malaysia.


AndyX ICS 7 supports chinese already. Last time v5 didn't support Chinese.

reli??? last time i did try AndyX v6.0, seems have a lot of bugs;
I. delete contact -- FC
II. Gallery -- FC
III. etc...
since alot of ppl here very happy on AndyX v7.0, will give it another shot!!!

Tried typing in chinese in memo using google pinyin and no issue writing or reading.

Just convinced me to upgrade to v7.0 what do u mean not ics icons? Do u mean like calendar and message icon is blue themed?

Also, does anyone here happen to have a mirror? I just canceled the download

No i mean like the statusbar. His batt icon and stuff is diff one mah. Always have been.

how is the camera cuz i read adesirello said something about camera issue or somehting like that. I'm having difficulty understanding what his trying to say but i know english isn't his native language.

i rooted using CF root, CEKI2
I want to upgrade to 2.3.6, but OTA is not working, and kies say no firmware update.

i know how to use odin to flash.
but i dont know which 2.3.6 to choose from in this link

malaysia's is DX or DZ, but i cant find DX or DZ 2.3.6.
the only DX i found is DXKL3, but the download link is "OLC MultiCSC"

i'm confuse why my baseband,kernal,and build number all different.
so far the things i mess with is,

-install MIUI and restore back to stock 2.3.3
-flash official ICS (LPQ), cmw restore back to stock 2.3.3

Kies doesnt update for rooted phones. You dont need to use malaysian firmware, just download the latest 2.3.6, which is LA4 if im not mistaken. Ur baseband is different as u flashed official ics b4. No worries, nothing wrong with it being different

Yeah i think video recording is not working.

Baseband is radio version.
Kernal is kernal version
Build number is the ROM build name.

All are separate and interchangable as long as they are within the same android version.

I'd just get the non-wipe 2.3.6 from XDA, and flash a modem that is 'good'.
