QUOTE(mtxx @ Mar 14 2012, 12:04 AM) just flash the official ics using mobile odin pro. Yeah diodict dun work with ICS. It fail on me when i try the leak ICS. Thats why i went back to GB... May wait a little longer before moving to ICS. With korean SGS2 just getting their ICS, hopefully the company will make their dict ICS compatible soon.only one word: DISSAPOINTED seriously, not much difference. TW interface change abit, just slightly, at the option menu still use the 3 layer memory. sigh. camera no change, exactly same as before (same speed as before) seriously so hard to find any changes. i've been using GB TW all this while. the noticable difference is the lock screen, just ever so slightly. function wise, just add the new browser, which is good. can sync with google chrome, and got good tab support. dont think will need dolphin anymore, can return it to ocean. some apps not working in ics, bye bye diodict. so sad.... face unlock is totally useless. just a gimmic. i need to use diodict... i dont feel this ics is any faster or smoother. if you guys do, maybe its the "oh...this is the latest android version, it must be faster" psychological effect. mix feelings... Added on March 14, 2012, 7:35 am QUOTE(superkingkong @ Mar 14 2012, 07:27 AM) Hi Guys, Not that i know of. But if you use custom rom like checkrom and turkbey they got swipe notification where you can swipe individual notification away.Is there anyway to delete the notification one by one, just like the one on honeycomb? Clicking clear will delete everything. Thanks... This post has been edited by antt00: Mar 14 2012, 07:35 AM |

QUOTE(TheLaptopDudeGuy @ Mar 14 2012, 11:02 AM) I think now temporary we need menu button, since most apps dont have the 3 dot/menu thing yet, so on gnex its at the on screen buttons place. Since we dont have on screen buttons, then if no menu button, we cant access menu in games, so that would be troublesome There is a mod for screen on buttons but dunno will work on latest ics or not.Added on March 14, 2012, 11:03 am Ok no problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445233 |

Hmmm the bugs people reported on wanamlite thread make me rethink installing his current version. Maybe just to try out will flash his deodexed fully stock rom instead.
Yeah first official SGS2 ICS kinda giving bad experience to people as there seems to be little diff with leak version (which have small bugs here and there). |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Mar 14 2012, 11:57 AM) Wired when ppl find a lot of bugs. Mine haven't got any FC yet. Maybe coz I use Apex/Nova launcher and not TW. Battery icons is working except while charging no blinking. Lockscreen also no problem and everything as smooth as GNex. We cannot compare GB with ICS. :-P I think the bugs came from theming and using aosp apps to replace those on stock rom. Thats why i want to try out stock rom and see.We compare ICS with ICS and I find ICS on stock S2 (without TW) is as good as ICS on stock GNex. But then again I hate ICS so maybe my observation is a bit bias. One thing for sure, you don't need to buy GNex just to get ICS. Our S2 can deliver the same thing except NFC and early firmware updates. So..who want to buy my GNex..!?? ~~LOL~~ Added on March 14, 2012, 12:00 pm ICS on GNote will be awesome..!! |

Wanamlite comes with so many launchers to test.
I find that Nova is the smoothest. Smoother than apex. But it cost USD4 and apex is free. Now doing nandroid and will test out thunderbolt. Later will try siyah alpha. |
