Not much incentive to flash yet :s
Wait till kernel sources released before deciding.

faster sell it before the price decrease tongue.gif
btw, i hate limitation created by samsung. it disables secure storage whenever a kernel not signed by samsung is used. every time i install certain apps from the store, i need to unmount sd and remount it back.
*
Maybe the unsigned kernel thing is a mistake.
Don't see why they would want this as a genuine limitation if otherwise :s

Thats just your firmware version.

Doesn't tell where the phone was supposed to be for.

Anyone with ODIN can flash a stock rom and show that info.

rofl @ s-on question.

Samsung didn't lock the bootloader on the s2. And S-on doesn't exist in sammy's circles, only on HTC

with CWM app you need to enter, and then enable CWM recovery inside the app.

So he can know how many people are downloading his file. Thats the reason, and that's also been used by some CM7 porters to other devices.

So they can track the number of users of the port.

One question pop up in mind, where does the 2G apps and apps data are being stored? Are we able to make changes to it?

So not able to be view at all?
*
The internal memory is partitioned into app storage and mass storage.

So total 16gb is partitioned accordingly.

Baseband is radio version.
Kernal is kernal version
Build number is the ROM build name.

All are separate and interchangable as long as they are within the same android version.

2.3.x

I'd just get the non-wipe 2.3.6 from XDA, and flash a modem that is 'good'.

Unless you have a VPN tunnel for secure payment, don't use public WiFi.

Use your own 3G mobile network or home wifi.

Read the terms and conditions carefully.
The bank holds very little liability if someone uses it without authorisation.

Unlike credit card where the owner has a max liability.

@Fallenangel, I'm not saying that there will be any problems with transactions. I'm talking in terms of whether you're liable to pay if someone uses your card.
