yes... after u put in the soil u wont have much space left. especially when u want to put the sand at the back of the tank higher than the front. will look kinda ridiculous. just my 2 cents


Guys... just got my hands on a 2nd hand 4ft aquarium with metal rack. trying to sell it out asap. price will be RM200(tank + rack) but buyer will have to collect it themselves... any1 of u or ur frens interested can contact me yea. ^^

depends on what you want.

usually xian leng for aquatic plants and hardware and enquire pricing (the one and only in BP tat i know), qian hu (now will convert to pet shop, which i buy nothing really just browsing due to expensive pricing) , another LFS right in front of summit parade where i get my shrimps for algae and feeding purpose, some other LFS mostly for fish browsing.

there are 2-3 more but i'm not familiar so i seldom go to these places.

Added on May 19, 2012, 7:47 ami've gone there infront of summit. earn drift wood.quite cheap there. if you like to search for chocolate gouramy, or some planted tank fishes come from malaysia, you can go to pasar tani in the morning. the makcik that selling fish merely 20years there. since i 5years old, she selling fish wor. dunno she still sell the fish or not. coz i notice the fishes quite few years back.huhu.when i not interested to the planted tank yet.huhu you can ask her. dunno can get or not.huhu. if i balik kg,i will visit her farm lor at ayer hitam. heard that got many malaysian variety.huhu
