Does anyone know why Block B so low occupancy? Out of 200 units in Block B, looks like less than 10 units has occupants.

QUOTE(Drbalr66 @ Aug 11 2020, 08:41 AM) Does anyone know why Block B so low occupancy? Out of 200 units in Block B, looks like less than 10 units has occupants. Based on my 2 years selling experiences in Sky Condominium, the reason is simple yet complicated, because 1) Showunit in Tower E, Tower A and one in Tower D, agent lazy walk to Tower B (lol) 2) Tower ACE got more common sizes (eg. 1173sqft, 1334sqft or 1561sqft) which comprises of small, middle and big sized unit, and layout quite nice; so most ppl since see showunit 1173sqft and 1334sqft, layout and price, so will prefer to choose Tower ACE 3) Tower B is 1356sqft and 1410sqft, so it neither smallest, neither biggest; while the most expensive type of the middle sized with 3R3B or 3+1R3B, so price is higher than the middle sized 1334sqft and 1313sqft 3R2B in Tower A (since tower A, still got unit to choose from, so ppl will tend to choose unit from higher occupancy block, since Tower C&E 1334sqft sold out, so the bigger 1300sqft in Tower B 1356sqft sales slower) 4) Tower B, corridor plan slightly different from Tower A, although still same 8 units per floor, some ppl who visited Tower A first may feel they preferred Tower A corridor. Conclusion main reason still most ppls lazy walk to Tower B and ppl tend to choose unit from more occupancy block and cheaper and smaller unit, hence i think Tower B sales only can jalan after Tower A unit running out fully. Is this clear? hehehe https://skycondominiuminfo.wasap.my https://skycondominiuminfo.wasap.my https://skycondominiuminfo.wasap.my This post has been edited by lysiew: Sep 28 2020, 10:42 PM |

i'm considering getting a unit here for own stay... so far the type that meet my criteria of lower noise (non facing traffic) & non evening sun is Block D type E units...
Any residents currently staying there in this forum? i see the take up rate quite slow... price issue? Quite like the high up in sky environment + the spacious layout... wanted 1.6k sqft unit but too bad is either facing evening sun or facing highway & LRT traffic... sound is so annoying... After staying here for almost 2 yrs now, let me list out some of the major problems/issues for future owners/tenants consideration.
1) One of the chepest or I would say worst quality lifts you'll find in a luxury condo. Out Of 4 lifts in every block 1 or 2 of them are always under maintenance and the others working are very much not secure and or stable in a sense that number of times people have been trapped inside the lifts here. 2) Main entrance & exit boom gate / barriers are also of the chepest quality and not using RFID or Long range reader technology and are always under maitnenance too. If working it takes few seconds before it detects your access card that too when you get very close to the barrier. 3) Poor water pressure. For e.g. if we open any of the taps the water pressure reduces in other rooms or ktichen. (Could be limited to my unit only and not for all units) 4) Security guards are very often changed here which could be due to security reasons I am assuming but the owners/tenants have to encounter new / less informed guards in that case. (Not really a -Ve side of the project) For point 1,2,3 you guys can always pay a visit and see it for yourself. And I still stand with my old google review below that the design/layout is one of the best among many luxury condos. Hope you'll find this helpful! Cheers ============ Top of the line Condo with beautiful skyline overlooking KL & PJ with 5 Star Facilities. Very well designed and structured. |

Agreed on the lousy boom gate system and the water pressure (same issue). Did you report on the water pressure to ioi?1) One of the chepest or I would say worst quality lifts you'll find in a luxury condo. The guardhouse entrance design doesn't justify with the price premium pay for the condo though the location is superb and condo block design is consider ok. The guardhouse entrance designs looks cheapo like Park Villa Puchong jaya guard house design since they are from same developer using all dark brown colour at enterance
