So far haven't heard of anyone wanting to buy used PLA. I got a ton of waste (a few kg) and I just throw some into my garden just for fun.

not selling, just trying too see how others are throwing away /recycling their unwanted printed plastics . PLA is not biodegradable in normal circumstances and i am trying to avoid just throwing it into the trashcan.

Doing fine here but business sure slowed down a lot this year. Doing other ventures now but still keeping 3D printing alive.

Coincidentally I just ordered one SLA 3D printer from AliExpress.

Basically not much to learn except to keep the resin sealed from lights and the liquid resin would stink up the entire room.

Which brand of SLA printer did you get? Im planning to get my Prusa i3 running again after putting it on storage for so long. Might need your help with printing some of the parts or perhaps i will get myself a new printer with aluminium frame and use that i3 as spare parts.

I got the SLA from Anycube. I can't comment about their build quality just yet because I just placed an order and now waiting for delivery.

I recommend you get the one with the aluminium joints instead of 3D printing the joints. Nowadays prices for 3D printers and spare parts have dropped by a lot. You probably have to replace the lubricant and clean out the gunk on the rods and bearings before using if you do plan to revive it.

So you are getting the Anycube Photon huh? I actually have my eyes on it too. Looks like a good entry level SLA printer. General review on it seems to be good too for that price range. Let me know once you get your hands on it and test it out.

Yup, the Anycube Photon. It is a good price for an entry level SLA with that build volume (155x115x65 mm) and sheet metal casing. Impressed by the spec but I don't know how it would perform once I get mine.

I got bits and pieces of parts from a Prusa i3 I bought off a long time ago. I have to see whats left of it. I normally just order the parts from China because everywhere else is the same .

It is getting a generally positive review out there and i am keen to actually get one to try it out. Would be great to have a local like you around to discuss about it in the future.

I notice you are into figurines and stuff. You should get the DLP/SLA instead of the FDM ones. So far printing small and highly detailed figurines have been a pain for me using my FDM. I mean I can print small figurines at 50 microns layer resolution but I am never satisfied with the final surface detail.

Yeah. Im into figurines but not keen as when i was younger.
I would say that i am a tinkerer. That is why i bought the FDM printer in the first place. And now i am so tempted to get myself a DLP printer since the price is alot more affordable then it used to be. I bet once we start to print on DLP we arent going back to FDM. LOL!!!

I am a tinkerer as well but recently a little lazy at making hardware stuff unlike last time. Now I am just tinkering with codes for apps and making 3D models for 3D printing.

I might get carried away with the DLP but I still have to keep the FDM for larger objects and prototyping

EasyThreed E3d Nano 3D can print 1/64 scale model?

Depends on what sort of model. Normally you use FDM for low detail models like polygon figurines or simple designs.

I have a DLP that does high detail figurines really well but it's a very messy process.

If say 1/64 scale Gundam parts then I would recommend DLP 3D printers over FDM ones anytime.
