Sifus, any recommendation on relatively cheap sources of PLA filament that are decent (good winding and even width) ? Roughly RM80-RM100 shipped.

QUOTE(altan @ Oct 6 2016, 01:59 PM) If you need quality PLA filaments, I would recommned Qwikfab filaments. Their filaments have high QA standards and isn't brittle than filaments sourced from most China vendors. If color consistency is a concern, Qwikfab filaments colors are standardized and is consistent between batches. You can checkout Qwikfab at http://web.qwikfab.com/3D-Printer-Filament and order their filaments through me. Just PM me if you are interested. Thanks for the suggestion, still "pricey" though. Looking for 1kg spools 1.75mm. I was hoping there are good chinese branded ones like esun but shipping kills the deal where it ends up the same price as qwikfab.

QUOTE(ekestima @ Jul 23 2018, 08:50 PM) Any reliable and good 3D printer that you guys can recommend ? I mean ready to use out of the box type. Thx ender 3. out of the box prints really well. btw, does anyone know where i can recycle pla? PLA should be compostable, trying to avoid throwing those support materials/ failed prototypes away. QUOTE(altan @ Aug 21 2018, 10:52 AM) So far haven't heard of anyone wanting to buy used PLA. I got a ton of waste (a few kg) and I just throw some into my garden just for fun. not selling, just trying too see how others are throwing away /recycling their unwanted printed plastics . PLA is not biodegradable in normal circumstances and i am trying to avoid just throwing it into the trashcan.
