QUOTE(sklchan @ Jun 1 2012, 01:12 PM) Dig 1 year before Lumia even available. When Nokia still depending on Symbian sales, they announce Symbian will be discontinued. What happen? Nokia sales went down, people start jumping to Androids, iOS. And Nokia don't have Android which many of their customer wants, and Nokia doesn't have any Lumia devices until end of 2011? This is a new business strategy which I cannot understand. |

WP7 is closed source, comes with tight restrictions and control. Very much same like iOS.btw got timer already http://www.pureview.in/ Android offers flexibility, customization, open-ness, etc. Very different characteristics with WP7 and iOS. Those who wants flexibility, customizations, and so on, WP7 and iOS will not be in the list already. It's like a sports car VS a MPV, if you like sports car, you most likely won't go for an MPV (aside from those buy because of family reasons). Nokia still delaying? Oh well, it's not like it's gonna turn the dead whale alive.
Symbian is not dead yet. Looks at all the offering. Good unbeatable value dual sim goodness. It just lack a top end model to vault them back into the elite. Nokia still stand to earn a lot from patent wars. Rambus bro... |
