Nokia 808 price is below 500 EURO , it should be below RM 2000 ,

i think around RM 1600 - RM 1900 is okay smile.gif

http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/devi.../specifications
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPho...7&idPhone2=3252

both pages shows the same, if WCDMA really is 3G
even N8 is better when in 3G

correct and explain to me please if i'm wrong
*
biggrin.gif it is still only a list of spec

in real life , we dont know how its performs ,

logically yes.. it should become like this -->, battery should become last longer in GSM mode

because 3G connection require more power blink.gif ,

that's what i thought too, but n8 has been out there for so long why they still state its 3g better than 2g? rclxub.gif
*
I still can't answer this , from my experience using N8 , by using only GSM , the battery last longer than when I'm using the 3G

Nokia used to be camera king with the N95, N82 era. Looks like they're back in business.
*
i thought they are always camera king biggrin.gif

Nokia N95 --> Nokia N82 --> Nokia N86[Nokia N82 is better in terms of flash] --> Nokia N8 --> Nokia 808

the Nokia N95 actually isn't king of camera phones.. but it is still okay thumbup.gif

thumbup.gif

QUOTE(ViRaViRa @ Feb 28 2012, 06:52 PM)
Will add this into my purchase list...
*
definitely.. nod.gif

anyway I dont know what is ND Filter , when I googled up ,

QUOTE(wikipedia @ ∞)
"The use of an ND filter allows the photographer to utilize a larger aperture that is at or below the diffraction limit, which varies depending on the size of the sensory medium (film or digital) and for many cameras, is between f/8 and f/11, with smaller sensory medium sizes needing larger sized apertures, and larger ones able to use smaller apertures. ND filters can also be used to reduce the depth of field of an image (by allowing the use of a larger aperture) where otherwise not possible due to a maximum shutter speed limit."

-> to achieve motion blur effects with slow shutter speeds ..?? sweat.gif hmm.gif

hmm I need to learn more about photography

yeah... it all down to "how easy", "how fast" and "is it possible"... lots of huha OS out there only show "yeah, i'm good on this and that..." but then when ppls ask "please send the file to me through bt" then "HUH?? bt??"  doh.gif
*
what the Windows want is people sharing the file using other method , other than bluetooth ,..

other than bluetooth , they can use email , etc..,etc..

but then.. it is not a practical method in Malaysia ..

same like iPhone biggrin.gif

It seems that the 808 forgo the small pin nokia charger for a usb one... meaning my nokia charger in my car will probably be useless unless i can find an adapter for it...
*
so you mean smaller micro USB ...?

I still remember Nokia N85 biggrin.gif

Nokia map lack POI

Anyway 808 has won the “Best New Mobile Handset, Device or Tablet at Mobile World Congress 2012”  thumbup.gif

and gsmarena interview got also mention that you can expect the low-light image to improve even further when the device is out... thumbup.gif
*
it is because in Malaysia , we got MFM/MSM who create the custom garmin maps for Malaysia[and others]

while for Nokia maps , there are a lot of POIs too .. but maybe not as good as created by MFM/MSM[got custom POI]

but will see if the map for kuching here is sufficiently updated or not, else going back to garmin with MSM
*
you are from Kuching , nice biggrin.gif , so far I like MSM more than MFM maps for Kuching area

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Mar 1 2012, 05:27 PM)
Garmin map can bring you around Malaysia the way you never though before... Works well in Bali too...
*
well , know that , smile.gif

I'm using latest MFM maps in my phone as well as UK maps biggrin.gif

but I like Nokia Maps more because of its interface and UI , smooth

garmin maps is better in Malaysia because we got map creator such as MFM/MSM which update their maps ... and also got custom POI too..

for me , MFM maps failed me when I was in my journey at Perak , [around Kg , Slim River] , and Nokia Maps helps me a lot... , well.. I use the latest MFM maps at that time .. [last year]
