I think those who always get SMS are those who have set their min threshold.

my card's chip a bit oxidised from less usage probably use once in two months. when card inserted, the card machine needs redialling at least more than 2 times. Since the implemented transactions alerts, every time use that card also got sms.

If credit cards are lost/stolen, what do we do? I think first report police but what if we do not have credit card numbers? Similarly, if we call the banks to report loss of cards, can they proceed without card number? What else should one do?

Immediately call your Credit Card company. They do not need your credit card number if you have lost them given that you can proof you are the owner. From there you can get the number and proceed to make a police report.

You can also make a police report first only then proceed to call the bank, but I would suggest call the bank first so at least you can make sure the card can be stopped immediately, or if there was any subsequent usage of the card, you have a case to argue that it was swiped by the thief and not you.

Use eraser to lightly rub it. You may need to press harder, up to certain pressure, yet not to spoil the chip.

Otherwise, just call/log a case with CC CS and tell them, chip cannot read, how to use ?

Call bank first, IMMEDIATELY. Give MyKad number is sufficient to block the cards.
Write down the date & time you call, the person name you talk to, ask them to tell you back the card number (for police report), etc.

Proceed to police station immediately after that.

Did you send in a request to set the Transaction Alert Limit via email for Maybankard 2 AMEX ?
I receive SMS later (after turn on my phone). So far no missing SMS Transaction alert.

yes, you can. the pin need to be retrived from ATM. just go to any maybank branch and ask them to do the linking for you.

Meaning I just cucuk my amex into the atm then they can prop me creating a pin (no need to key in any pin bfore hand?) ? or... Sorry coz I'm new to M2U...

i forget the exact procedure. go and speak to the bank officer there, they will guide you.

just go to nearest bank & inform that you need to have M2U, ask them to do for you. Not an issue although do not have CASA.

hi all.. im having problem with HLB CC currently.. it's giving me so much trouble for 2 weeks.. i wanted to buy online using the CC, but it keep prompt the error that my cc is not registered with verified by visa.. I've keep calling the cc helpdesk, they keep telling me that my phone number already registered.. when i call the last few times, they say, "miss this one time password (OTP) doesnt need much registration" this really annoyed me.. if no need registration, then why i cant use it?
anyone faced the same issue before? really appreciate your help...
