If credit cards are lost/stolen, what do we do? I think first report police but what if we do not have credit card numbers? Similarly, if we call the banks to report loss of cards, can they proceed without card number? What else should one do?

Thanks

I always clear my cc and amazingly I do not know exactly how long is the interest free period. I read the terms and condition and I have a question. Assume I have always cleared fully my previous month statement. Is the 20 day interest free period counted from the statement date (where in the statement there will be a Due date) or counted from EACH and EVERY transaction individually?

counted from the statement date. if you notice, due date is 20 days after the statement date  smile.gif

Let's say your statement date is on the 8th of every month, and you make a RM100 purchase on 9 April. This purchase will appear in the May statement dated 8 May and the due date is 27 May. So you count how many days from 9 April to 27 May.

48 days lor. Wah, din realise the interest free period is so damn long! Looks like I need to plan the payment nicely to save some interest. Have been paying off randomly. The savings will not be much but just for the heck of it. tongue.gif

there is no interest free period if you are already carrying a  balance. Interest free only if you settle statement balance every month
