Too solid = finger pain, personal story, LOL...

I compared plate mounted and PCB mounted Cherry Red, plate mounted seems to be too hard and will cause pain to finger(if you spam it down hard and long enough) while PCB mounted doesn't had such feel.

i also saw it as flat surface... no curved cylinder shape....

Go for MKC's or Vortex's then? Theirs look better finished and also make the curved surface.

was thinking of making custom caps from MKC's aluminium keycaps... like the rough texture on it... vortex eh??? already start production???? i thought still in "coming soon phase".....

Not sure if MKC do made custom caps of customer's choice of icons.

RM230 ish max shipped for red keys. Its pretty cheap. But the quality is questionable right

It cost around RM200, and around another RM20 for the shipping(2kg). You can probably get more things together with it at the same time to make full use of the 2kg(at least can include a set of keycaps).

TLDR: A good keyboard, will be a even better board if it fixed the alignment problems(should had be fixed by now).

If you want to be safe, hold longer and add a little more for the coming backlit version. It isn't shown/reported with alignment problems, somemore reselling backlit keyboard in Malaysia is far easier than selling Mech KB, true story...
