Anyone has any idea how to get the browser to sync bookmark?

Currently, I am using cbromemarks, I can see and open my bookmarks. But, how do I add bookmarks to it since browser doesn't sync.

Tried to sync chromemarks to boat browser but it says boat browser is closed database and can't read/write boat's bookmarks.

No risk lah. I am well prepared. Bricking is nothing to me - used to it and everytime I can always recover back
I have 3 nandroid backups. My official stock rom is downloaded . If brick, I can always usen odin in PC to flash back. Now downloading the rom , should be able to start testing in another 2 hours time

Can the adapter charged via USB with the Tab on?

It will be very extremely slow charging it through USB port - is not worth the time n effort

BTW I have just successfully flash my first rom on the Tab 7.7 : Magnolia v1 beta. Whole process went smoothly without any hitches ; now restoring my apps from Titanium backup. Will post a review of it later tonight in my blog. Just took me 6 mins to flash it and get it booted up successfully

Does the Social Hub support "push mail" for Yahoo and Gmail ?

Cause I notice there's option to select setting for Interval Time...which means it does not support push mail...am I rite ?

I never use the default email or social hub
I prefer using K9 mail where I can set email checking every minute or 5 min or 10 mins up to several hours even
Also K9 mail allows me customization of font sizes in whole message window on every aspect of the mail
I can also select whether to have email remain on server after download or delete email on tab when deleted on server plus many other options, too many to be listed here
I was so happy with it i upgraded to the paid version Kaiten Mail

my unit screen all working perfectly.don worry bout the screen.


but only 1 funny things.
i use digi sim card all working well, but digi speed....u know lah...

i use celcom broadband, speed is amazing, but the unit once a while will detect the sim card ejected and restart my unit. fine, i test another celcom broadband card. same things happen....why? but the celcom sim card use at usb stick no problem...

Mebe the thickness of celcom sim vs digi sim ? So far I use digi no complain bout the stability, juz speed not up to par. But my experience wif celcom not reli good anyway, owez dc dc n even dare show me a blue page saying the network provider have reached their limit. Mebe coz of using prepaid, but I use my friends post paid oso same prob. Hence I never moved to celcom.
Maxis is more or less same like digi, just speed abit faster if in good coverage. My home kinda not good for broadband, use digi, celcom, maxis, yes all oso 2 bar max, so I never bother using mobile broadband at home coz got unipi.



One thing I notice, playin certain game the screen will be awake and never standby mebe coz I never set power save or sumthing, left the tab in my pouch inside my sling bag, when I took it out wah so hot lucky no problem.

What custom rom for ?
Newbie question first time using android.. does it same with root ?

custom ROM is a custom firmware/operating system.. root is for u to gain access to the system file.. so, u need root in order to install/flash custom rom

Erm from what I know u dun need to root to flash any custom rom, but to customise ur os then only u need root. Actually root is like having full access to ur pc, normally we have administrator, user, access for ur pc, if u got administrator u can basically delete everything and ur pc won't boot anymore. Root is similiar to that.

Custom rom usually have diff version, diff apps, diff functions. Some really cutdown on the bloatware while some have special function like beta os from upcoming release or leaked version.

B4 u flash recommended to root so u can backup everything and if anything happen u can restore it to original state.

When uninstall any apps, is it the apps are completely removed from the tab? Or its just remove the shortcut/widget from the screen?

Really? can flash custom rom without root access meh? flash thru odin? hmm.. i think it might fail coz u can't access the root..

normal procedures was: root> install CWM> then finally flash anything u want..
