the cheapest original SME set i found at the moment is RM1989

Some custom roms comes prerooted so when you flash it , it will auto root your Tab. In principle you need root so that the system files can be access and be written over by the new rom files

Hello everyone, Galaxy Tab 7.7 user here.
Need SP asap. Also need recommendation for cover. Need some opinion.

Put that aside, I'm looking for better way of using GPS thing on this tab, been using google map (MapIT) but not really that good. I was wondering if there is software that can play almost similar function as common garmin GPS.

All helps are much appreciated.

Try googlen search "xda onwhere Google map". It is basically unlocked Google map that enables you to use navigation, just like Garmin. Realiable and saves me alot of time.

For more custom, social & with traffic info map, go market and search "waze "

Yes , recommended to copy the root.zip file to the external sdcard

ok thanks, guess I'll leave it till this tab allows to move the app to the ext sd card. for the time being, i'll just rely on the primary storage. Will ICS update allows to transfer apps to ext sd card?

it can be as low as RM1950 or lower,but I don't think somebody will offer you this price

ICS does NOT support transfer of apps to external SD Card

Just install the USB drivers again. Or try plug into another USB port
Download KIES 2.0 drivers from HERE
