I am a new user of Asus. Now I am using A45VM-VX113V, now I having a problem is power options. When I go to close "Choose what closing the lid does" and i select press power button to shut down and closing lid to do nothing. After that restart, the options that i choose will get back default again. No matter is plug-in battery or only ac adpater, it still will get back default. At change power advance settings>power buttons and lid there also set,it will also restore back default. Please help me for the solution.

^open Power4Gear, change the same settings there. It overwrite the Windows settings.

Nothing more, pretty much should be power 4 gear interfering with that, unless you got install other software that have something similar function..
or go to MSConfig and disable Power 4 Gear from startup. |

Is it COMPULSORY to have Power4Gear in the Windows Scheduled Task list?
