Leave the Oberon games untouched. Uninstalling them seems to just introduce more problems.
and uninstall Asus Web Storage. |

QUOTE(moiskyrie @ Apr 10 2012, 10:59 PM) Download the modded inf from laptopvideo2go.com forum, then replace the original inf (the folder which nvidia driver extract) then run the extracted installer again.QUOTE(lionelzc @ Apr 12 2012, 11:54 AM) X42JR user here. If you do it carefully, shouldn't void anything Didn't notice that X series was under this thread even after a year using my laptop. Anyway, does opening the cover to clean the fan void the warranty? |

QUOTE(moiskyrie @ Apr 14 2012, 07:08 PM) Basic guideline is take out the dvd drive, remove the dvd drive faceplate, attach it to the hdd caddy, slide it into the notebook.Appearance, should remain similar like having dvd drive, unless if the hdd caddy is longer.. QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Apr 14 2012, 10:19 PM) Most of the explorer.exe not responding, the log always point to Asus Web Storage in these Asus thread.. |

Nothing more, pretty much should be power 4 gear interfering with that, unless you got install other software that have something similar function..
or go to MSConfig and disable Power 4 Gear from startup. |

For RM2K+, don't really have notebook with significantly lighter weight + good GPU. Mostly still weight 2.2KG
If you have more budget, can consider the Sony Vaio SVS13116FGB, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT640M LE@RM3299[1.72kg], 4GB, 640GB(5400rpm), W7HP or unless you don't mind with slower CPU, Asus K46CM-WX090V, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT635M@RM2099[2kg], 2GB, 500GB, 4-cell battery, W7HP, OD This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Sep 15 2012, 11:30 PM |
