may i ask that, what is the finishing for the N56NZ keyboard side (silver round, dot), palm rest? is that matte spray coated finish or aluminum metal finishing? I worried it will turn faded when i rest my hand/palm on the laptop in time being....

manage to buy from LYN seller but I make a very BIG mistake. I didn't create recovery disk and perform hard disk partition. Upon system reboot, windows boot partition corrupted. I try many ways that I know off but still unable to recover it.

So, now I need help from existing UX32VD user urgently. I need your help to burn recovery disk. I will pay for your service & DVD-R. If case you don't have DVD burning, I have. May be we can meet somewhere in Kepong or Damasara area to get the job done.

Please PM me before 11am. If no respond by that time, I will go to SC to get it fix but it will take time. I need the notebook urgently coz I will use it for my oversea business trip next wednesday.

Any kind souls please help me out.

Your UX32VD LCD screen resolution is 1600x900? Is that an IPS panel? How's the color reproduction and viewing angle?

Could be overheating. Normally the system will shut down if the temperatures get too high.

guys when gaming with my a53 the cpu temp will shoot up to 9x degrees, max recorded is 97 lol. gpu will be around 80. normal?

yah its normal unless you cool it with cooler pad because i can gaming for 4 hours straight with it, cpu at 84 degree max using cm u2 cooler pad

was playing some games again. max cpu temp according to core temp is 100C. Really?

6520G is the name of the integrated GPU. The external is the HD7670M. Normally you can specify which GPU you want it to run on but that will need some clarification since I've not much hands on these APUs.

Anyone know is it possible to upgrade I5 cpu to I7 cpu for A53SV? I want to upgrade my CPU to I7 because on retail spec on ASUS website, there is i7 version of A53SV. So the question is :

1. Is it possible?
2. Is it worth it?
3. Will it void warranty?
4. If i send it to ASUS centre to change it is the warranty still valid.
5. Where i can get the I7 CPU?

2. Nope, totally not worth it. Individual mobile CPUs are normally very expensive.
3. If you do it by yourself, you'll be opening up the case and you may void the warranty. Also, high chance of damaging something unknowingly.
4. If they bother to help you, then yes the warranty is valid. Best to email them if you want them to help.

when i gaming just now i noticed my fan suddenly get louder than usual, i never heard it b4, or maybe i focus on gaming and did not hear it b4..
if it can be cotrol, i prefer it run in full speed...

I just bought Asus U36SG-RX072V and running 3 days one on one replacement test.
When I was browsing forum with google chrome the webpage display suddenly become 'colorful'(as per attached).
Anyone can tell me if this is normal?
