nope, the officer didnt ask anything.. i went to JPJ Wangsa Maju just before 9am, and there is just a few person inside.. take my no and my no is just after the display no.. wait about 10mins, and my no call out.. give everything required to the officer, she key in a few thing, took the IDP card and fill in and chop everything, sign here and there and finally sign their IDP receiver book.. everything done, i think in 15mins.. also dont forget to bring your real IC and license, since you need to do some biometric verification..

maybe we can meet in korea next month  icon_rolleyes.gif

Stay in guesthouses, you will have an unforgettable experience!
You don't need to hire a tour guide around Seoul, most of the city has English signs and wordings.

I wanna ask when u book korail tickets we pay at the counter right?

You use your credit card to book online but they only charge you when you exchange them for the actual tickets at the counter.
Does that make sense?

you should re-read their car rental instructions.

There is car rental counters at airport, if you rent from Kumho go to their counter.. If you rent in Jeju, from Jeju airport, there is counter and guide to help you take their bus to their rental place and take the car..

i know we can haf an option to select the LDW. there is 2 option to select (full immunity & 300,000 krw). actually which one to select and what is the difference? i read on their webpage stated that when we rent the car, we are covered on insurance & accident. so LDW is an extra option? btw, it's necessary to purchase together? i'm kinda confuse on this. rclxub.gif

The ITX you can buy it on the spot. I see many South Koreans do that. Btw, we accidentally hope onto an ITX, thought it was just another train, no seats, so have to stand near the entrance for the whole journey. haha.... we dunno if its legal or not. but everything was okay.

I booked AJ car rental, more popular as Avis. its very convenient, you go to its counter in Jeju Airport, they will ask you to go to Gate 5, take a free shuttle bus (for AJ customers only) to their depot. And your car is there. (book your car at the Gimpo AJ Car Rental before flying off to Jeju, give them some time to look for a good car for you)

You can choose with or without insurance. I suggest, just pay a little extra for the insurance, for peace of mind. icon_rolleyes.gif

we wrote a blog page for fun about travelling in Jeju, maybe it helps haha.. http://milokosongbing.blogspot.com/2013/01/jeju-island.html

That's basically the gist of it.
But if you're opting for ITX instead of KTX then dont worry about it, can buy on the spot.

Any KTX tickets that you book online have to change at the counter to get actual tickets, no matter where you go.
I am not sure what is the latest train as it depends on the day you travel. Fridays and Saturdays have later trains.
It is not advisable to take the last train because once you reach Seoul station, the metropolitan lines would have closed by then and if your accommodation is not within walking distance, you will have to take a cab.
