It's Prime time.

Great head sculpt, articulation is better than expected, and those flame details are awesome. I love the use of metallic paint, just great.

Also, I love the way they incorporate the batt holders at the side as the fuel tanks [I assume].

Those lights and sounds though are a bit too cheesy for me. It looks like his tits lights up every time I transform him.

Nope, there is no die cast content at all. The entire figure is made of plastic including the chest. wink.gif

lol, there's no need to.

You can see that the whole body is moulded in plastic if you examine it carefully.

Don't be fooled by the metallic paint job. wink.gif

Blackout leg's articulation is limited cos of the back tail. And they should have done more with the Scorponok instead of just messily slapping black paint on the top.

Nope, I just shine light thru them. biggrin.gif

Last but not least, Ratchet. rclxms.gif

The only downpoint for Ratchet is that they should paid more attention to his head. The sculpt is great, but the lack of paint app makes it look like crap. As they say, the paint app will either make or break a great figure

Only 3 metals exibit detectable/atracted to magnetism... Ferum, Cobalt and Nickle. Ferum being the most numerous component on earth is most often used in any aloy metal(diecast).. Therefore likely magnetic.... However the metal on MP prime/ultra magnus, starscream and megatron is not composed of the 3 mentioned metals.. therefore not magnetic.. A more definate way is to measure electric conductivity as all metal(and some non metals) exibit conductivity. This would involve some paint scrapping for prime/starscream but not megatron as the diecast parts are chromed(another metal).
I would guess the binaltech's and MP's diecast compose of some/mainly of Malaysia most popular metal export.. timah

That said The movie prime is completedly abs plastic (& some rubber) with the exception of skrews and pegs.

UNDICI.. no offence but what u said for The movie prime and maybe the MP Megatron before... concerning diecast parts is just wrong.
