No good. High attenuation. Like usual, it may be caused by damaged cables or faulty splitters. QUOTE(R3Ju7Ce @ Oct 20 2006, 11:54 AM) Any idea how to increase the SNR margin ?? Any Sifu can give some idea .. ?? You have to ensure that the phone cables used are in tip top condition. The control of SNR margin is with tmnet. You just have to consult them for assistance.

Once so called promotion by TMnet to 1.5mbps/512kbps connection, my download SNR has dropped like crazy. From the beginning near 30dba to around 6dba now, frequent disconnection.
Able to get higher SNR on glite as the download speed is slower and more stable connection.

Which is why I never want to "upgrade" my connection speed. heck I'm thinking about ending my Streamyx connection altogether. I still have access to my office Streamyx (which is more stable). Waste of money.

Maybe you can post up your screen shot of the SNR margin at here ??

I still have access to my office Streamyx (which is more stable). Waste of money. u have access at office but I'm not. I would glad if they just stick with 1mbps/512 or 512/384..... high bandwidth only work for those who lives very near to the exchange point. Those who 5km++ from the exchange point may not get anything more than 512kbps(to have a stable connection)

Super unstable line connection drops every few hours or so, and some times even though it's supposed to be connected at 1024Kbps it takes 1/2 a minute to load even lyn, I've changed the wiring in my house 4 times to no avail, and after many complaints to fix the junctionbox outside my house have fallen of deaf ears, any suggestions?
