it's true that HK people is not that friendly, some are rude, some are not, especially waiter serving you, you can try go to Australia Dairy Farm and Lin Heung Tea House, they will place the servings very hard, you might get a shock tongue.gif

Talking about Macau, probably will go early and come back night at the same day. Problem is, what time is the MTR stopped operating already?

Usually by midnight. Some stations/line is 1am.

Don't get me started with ADC, very terrible service. I already expected it somehow from the comment but didn't expect to be worse.

Before going in, already select the meal (A,B or C) so they reduce selection time. Then the food came 1st without the drink.

So we ate the food 1st, ate halfway still no drinks serve. So inform the waiter, look at me one kind and ask me what I order (Milk tea).

The drinks came, I finish my plate of food, hence he wanted to take the plate, but the utensils are still on top. We thought he'll take the whole thing, but he ask us to hold on to the utensils (though I know cantonese but it was loud in the restaurant and he speak too fast). Just like a 2 seconds delay he already complain in cantonese (again they thought I don't understand) to his colleague saying "Aiya, they so slow and don't understand one la"

Wah, I was pretty upset about that. My gf ate quite slow so I ended up helping her to finish. Again, they thought we are slow shakehead.gif

Anyway not a fan of the restaurant, tried once is enough for me. Not really a fan of scrambled egg, though I must say it's texture is good but too much of it (considering I ate like half of my gf one) is damn jelak. The macaroni with ham strips also so so, quite blend in taste. Heard from friend the "dan nai" was good though never tried as I myself ate like 1.5 portion of the set A (i think) as my gf is light eater

don't worry so much Clareen...

HK is a much safer place then KL, in fact i travel to HK twice every year but i only go during winter time due to the nice windy weather.

if you have local friend to take you around then it will be great, every road sign is dual language so no worries.

worse case, just buy the unlimited data pack from one2free and use GPS to find your location that you want to travel.

just remmeber to bring extra cash, the food is so good, you will probably eat like 6 - 7 meal per day

during my last trip, i brought around 8K HKD.

600 HKD per day seem okay but depend on what you eat.

is always better to bring extra rather then less
