i book thru booking.com
So far all 3 hotels no need deposit for reservations. One of the hotel doesnt even accept Credit card which is not really favourable since I dont want deal with so many cash transactions when I'm there.
Casa is still full as of today, any other hotels thats recommended?

Okler, my budget can up abit, provided it's reasonable la. I dont want to pay cheaply and then had to endure the stress, when we are really expecting free stress while vacationing. *going with wife, well you know what happen when a women stress. I got my eye on Cosmopolitan Hotel, HKD780 per night which total around RM1.5k/RM1.6k for 5 nights. Wondering if I should book that since I need to pay everything now.

lololololol ok, i booked this Oriental Lander Hotel. very near Prince Edward Station. http://www.agoda.com/asia/hong_kong/hong_k...nder_hotel.htmlTotal RM1,325.12, which means around RM265 per night there. Strangely it's different from booking.com coz they actually did charge to my card even they state FREE CANCELLATION. (I got the sms from bank)

yea, after some thinking, MTR cost + higher hotels cost doesnt cut to it. I might end up spending more than booking an expensive hotel in Mongkok area. Anyway, since it's charged. Might as well go with it. Now have to plan what to do with that 5 days lol

No la, my wife totally not into shopping. Both of us don't shop cloths, or branded stuffs. We only buy when we really need them.
Most of our $$ went into food / entertainment like cinema, or buying our hobby stuffs like (me) toys and my wife (books)
Shopping for branded bag and cloth is totally not going to happen lolz.
5 days is not enough la but cant take more than that tho. :S

My main attractions over there mostly are

Eating and Shopping and those I can think of a way to slot in between travelling time or any other free time lol.
What do you guys think?

Yea, I know about the Peak, but never been there during night time, Only bus can reach there right? Is there any bus during night time? I'll go early for that Madame Tussauds and stay till late maybe around 8/9pm only head home.
Giant Buddha and Citygate gonna make a full day then, Disneyland 1 day Ocean Park 1 day
That's 3 days out of 4 days I have, Not to fill in the activities before going to The Peak.
Or probably I can do both Peak and Ocean Park in 1 day since it's quite nearby. Then one last day to do shopping and walking around Mongkok areas

I dont know la, but sharing table is not new in Malaysia la.
Actually it's more like the "lost attributes" of Malaysian long time ago. I still remember sharing table in chinese kopi shop during having breakfast. We did share the tables and had breakfast.
Nowadays it has become a selfish and also a "No I don't want to share tables" lol.
Those who grew up that time for sure know this is something have been done way back long before the young took over and become isolated. LOL

I think he's asking Whether the time is right for him. The flight time is ok, but for the checkout time in hongkong, you will need to checkout as early as 8 or 9am and rush to airport already. But tbh... really expensive lol during non-promo period. Still feel lucky I manage to grab 2 return tix to hk with RM720 only.

Budget food around RM100 or HKD200 per day for each person. Do you guys think it's enough?

Thanks for the advice, my budget of HKD150 per day is possible. Btw, my budget doesn't exclude pocket money. So should be ok de.
