hi all,

im planning to go to HK in May which is the Spring season.

Read online saying that it can be quite humid with occasional heavy downpours...feeling kinda worried upon knowing this. Is it still a good month to travel there?
*
It depends. My trip used to be downpour for the next 5 days but it is sunny when I got there sweat.gif

For football fans, jersey in CityGate is cheap. Bought a 2010/2011 season jersey for Rm120.

rclxms.gif  ppl here so obsessed wif it.. where as those gals in HK, TW, SG look at it as a normal bag jz like Vincci or Charles n Keith standard. one can get tis brand in Europe n USA in a very cheap price where as in Msia d price is mark up so much!! making ppl here feel tat having such bag is branded only.. tongue.gif

imagine u can get a basic longchamp bag in Europe (after conversion around RM180-200++) bt in here can cost around RM400++  sweat.gif
*
Thats why I don't support luxury brand in Malaysia because of the price. Poor people like me only can buy it oversea sad.gif

If possible, brands such as LV buy from Europe better since I bought one and it saves me around half of the price in KL.

Thanks for the quick replies....kinda typo there...its actually 5 days Tues-Sat.

Though my Sat flight is on 6pm, don't think got time to go site seeing perhaps some nearby shopping only.

Tuesday reaching there like 11am, what are the things I can do for the whole day?

Maybe Wed - Disneyland

Thurs - Ocean Park / Museum

Friday - ???
*
Tuesday you can try to search for local HK food and sight seeing smile.gif

And friday morning for HK breakfast and shopping smile.gif

Thanks!! for the recommendations but Friday whole day shopping?

Wouldn't that be too tiring or are there like tons of places to shop?

Sorry for these kind of questions...first time going there not just how is it like there. Is it something like KL where you can walk from Bukit Bintang to Pavillion to Sungai Wang etc.
*
I think Citygate enough to "cut" your wallet laugh.gif

Dear Sifus,

I wish to stay 'online' while visiting Hong Kong.

Any recommendation/advice on what's the cheapest way to stay connected? I'm using Digi in Malaysia. International would be a bit pricey.. please kindly advice.

Thank Q!

for those who cant live without mobile data.....try to get this simcard package...

user posted image

it cost only hk$88, it contain $88 prepaid value, then can use $78 inside the $88 to load 7days unlimited data usage.

for my 7days trip over there, satisfied H+ data coverage.

the prepaid package can get it from departure hall 1010 CSL store.
