If going around end of January won't have any sale besides winter clothing? If so what a bummer, thought of shopping for new CNY clothes next year there.

Will H&M only selling winter clothes too? or there'll be casual wear and stuff like that.

1. What is the plug head in HK? Same as here? Or need travel adaptor
2. Which ferry should I take if I'm staying at Hardrock Hotel Macau? To which port? The taipa one? If I want head to Senado square first, which port should I go?
3. Any advice if going to Disneyland and Ocean park? Like which ride the longest queue? Example for Universal studio Singapore I went for battlestar first when they open to avoid the queue built up after that.

If I want to watch the Dancing water in Macau, should I book now or buy there?
My colleague say buy there cheaper but I worry no tickets later if buy on the spot.

Any advice? notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Book now. Tickets get sold out fast. As far as I know, there is no price difference, unless you have contacts/friends working at COD.
*
Student price is cheaper 10%, some cards also have 10% discount, I used Amex that time and can get 10% disc

But do take note seat is limited and can't choose, even if you buy at counter.

Thanks - mine is gold as well if the promo if still on might just watch it.

How was the show by the way?which area did you seat in?
*
I actually took the combo hard rock hotel + 2 tickets of HOD. I think that's a good deal.

Enjoy my stay at hard rock, very large room.

6 person fitted into 2 rooms no issue. Bought additional 2 tickets of HOD when go there since there's 6 of us.

Bought the cheapest ticket there. If budget not an issue to you better to get those near stage seat (2nd exp?). That's better experience (have risk getting splashed, but not that major)

I must say the show did not disappoint, one of the highlights in my short Macau stay. I went only 2 days 1 night in between my HK trip

We spent quite alot as we did alot of shopping and bought alot of souvenir so it might be hard for you to estimate. Food are generally cheaper compared to HK as well.

HKD:MOP - 1:1.029

If you spend a day there don't be bothered to change and yes if you use HKD they will return change in MOP. Just bring small notes (50 / 100) and keep as little as possible.
*
Can actually request them to give back the change in HKD. But you can always used it next time if they indeed give MOP.

My 2 days 1 night there encounter no such issue, all was given back HKD

plan ahead and enjoy. ppl around that region are mostly friendly and its even better if u know cantonese. hk is easy for u to walk around urself
*
My encounter with them are not good. Only in dim sum areas those grandpa and grandma is friendly and will chat with you.

Those young teens/young working adult is seriously doh.gif

Scenario:
1. Was holding the handrail in MRT, suddenly a girl behind speak loudly asking me not to touch her, I was like unsure.gif I didn't even touch her though I must admit I may be swaying a bit as the MRT was fast and I don't really have firm grip. I didn't even noticed her and I was with my gf the whole time. So I speak back politely saying I'm sorry though I don't think I touched you (in Cantonese) then she replied I did and the bf beside her also supported her shakehead.gif

2. Was sitting in MRT and notice a bunch of teens talk. As they were quite loud (and nothing to do) so I eavesdrop their conversation and looking at their direction. A teen girl is showing off her Converse sneakers with lots of bling hence I took a glance (quite into converse too). I think she thought I'm tourist and don't understand cantonese, so she said see my sneakers so nice even that guy is also looking at mine (in Cantonese again)

it's true that HK people is not that friendly, some are rude, some are not, especially waiter serving you, you can try go to Australia Dairy Farm and Lin Heung Tea House, they will place the servings very hard, you might get a shock tongue.gif
*
Don't get me started with ADC, very terrible service. I already expected it somehow from the comment but didn't expect to be worse.

Before going in, already select the meal (A,B or C) so they reduce selection time. Then the food came 1st without the drink.

So we ate the food 1st, ate halfway still no drinks serve. So inform the waiter, look at me one kind and ask me what I order (Milk tea).

The drinks came, I finish my plate of food, hence he wanted to take the plate, but the utensils are still on top. We thought he'll take the whole thing, but he ask us to hold on to the utensils (though I know cantonese but it was loud in the restaurant and he speak too fast). Just like a 2 seconds delay he already complain in cantonese (again they thought I don't understand) to his colleague saying "Aiya, they so slow and don't understand one la"

Wah, I was pretty upset about that. My gf ate quite slow so I ended up helping her to finish. Again, they thought we are slow shakehead.gif

Anyway not a fan of the restaurant, tried once is enough for me. Not really a fan of scrambled egg, though I must say it's texture is good but too much of it (considering I ate like half of my gf one) is damn jelak. The macaroni with ham strips also so so, quite blend in taste. Heard from friend the "dan nai" was good though never tried as I myself ate like 1.5 portion of the set A (i think) as my gf is light eater

Don't worry that much @Clareen i exchange HKD5000 enough to last me 7 days 6 nights (not including accommodation). Each with their preference and budget. If you plan to shop more, they accept credit card for major store.

And from it I spend like HKD1500 on shopping.
