So dun expect much. I think they just do general checking on 1000km |

QUOTE(saculooi @ Aug 2 2012, 11:49 AM) it says in this review that civic hybrid 18.71km/L and the 1.8 civic 13.61. In the end..it depends on how u drive..the figure given would be just a reference.http://savemoney.my/honda-civic-hybrid-vs-...green-worth-it/ can ANYone confirm these figures are reliable for KL driving? If u were to drive 60kmph everyday with low aircond..i think probably u might reach 13km/l. |

For my case was 95% city, ECON off and I don't bother to step bit more to gain speedup feel http://savemoney.my/honda-civic-hybrid-vs-...green-worth-it/ can ANYone confirm these figures are reliable for KL driving? Any 1.8 owner can share your FC? |

QUOTE(ogawafreeman @ Aug 1 2012, 09:54 PM) Just try to get a KIA forte 2010 and go to car dealer, and a Honda civic 2010 to a car dealer, see how much you can get from them and don't talk about the selling prices of the dealer. So safety, value for money, specs, technology, design & warranty terms are not important as resale value? What is the % of drop in value for a 2.0L Camry? Did you check yourself or are you merely vomitting out other ppl's garbage without doing any checks of your own? D segment car resale values are far lower than C segment makes. Its a known fact. They take ur car very low,not how much ur car can sell. get what i mean? KIA is unfamous eventhough KIA optima is a very nice car,but the value is still worse, just go and compare with Toyota Camry. I can buy Honda and Toyota without test drive it,But KIA,i don think i will buy bcoz of the resale value. If you dont agree with me,then you go ahead with ur KIA. Here is HONDA CIVIC Thread. QUOTE(saculooi @ Aug 2 2012, 01:52 PM) well if jazz can do 21km, why can't civic do it? Fuel consumption figures are secondary to actually testing the full tank mileage. http://savemoney.my/malaysia-hybrid-car-bu...save-you-money/ i dunno lah. i dunno how car manufacturers can put these figures or get these figures. we need real life numbers or a database of people putting their figures online Fill up till the first click of the pump, drive till almost empty, then fill up again till the first click of the pump. Record mileage driven and then compare figures. Do it about 3 times to get an average reading. This will be more accurate. But also take into account % of highway or city driving. |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Aug 2 2012, 01:25 PM) Check the service booklet..they dun change on 1000kmAdded on August 2, 2012, 2:07 pm QUOTE(jsnoway @ Aug 2 2012, 01:48 PM) Good FC. I'm going to on the ECON for my next f.tank. Would you feel the power significantly drop after ECON on? ECON mode kinda slow down the acceleration feel and air conditioned not so cool and very short gear change. This post has been edited by civic2012: Aug 2 2012, 02:07 PM |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Aug 2 2012, 01:25 PM) i think he was referring to the first service at 1000km of which they fine tune this that. dont think any oil change or anything changed for that matter because the cost is only less than 30RM which is waived as well as one of the 6 free labour serviceson fuel economy note, to be honest i dont really check my milage or fuel consumption etc etc. i mean not in figures. my driving distances are pretty much routine. so i know what the appropriate ringgit cost per distance i drive. it is easy to realise something is wrong by just checking my petrol payments or refuelling intervals. and for the econ button? i never fail NOT to push it. haha. the cruise control works well. so far so good the civic. |

I think the purpose here is to know what is the fuel consumption and if its really economical or otherwise. Not to check if something is 'wrong'. the cruise control works well. so far so good the civic. Well, if the ECON button works the same way as the the ECO button on the Optima, then it will regulate your RPM, and lower the gear change ratio (which results in faster upshifts). Not sure if it has any effect on the aircon. This will give you a sluggish feel but slightly better FC during town drives. But ECON has little or no effect on highway cruising speeds in excess of 90kmph. Its best effects are felt during stop go traffic conditions. But i would recommend you to do a comparison of FC during 100% city driving with and without the ECON button switched on. This post has been edited by cybermaster98: Aug 2 2012, 02:33 PM |
