what about the hybrid? does it come with navi? opting a suitable car for my girl. 

hybrid got all the gizmos available on the 2.0L. keyless entry, push button, leather seats, the lot. but at 122k it is expensive considering the last hybrid civic was only ... ? forgot how much but certainly NOT over 1.8L.

regarding the price, what we have now only estimations but as the clock ticking down to tomorrow i must say estimations are coming to be true after all. they may miss by only 1k or 2k and that even asking very hard. at best maybe miss some hundreds. i want to believe the 2.0L should be 130k tops but it seems not possible anymore

at 139k for the 2.0L navi is simply unbelievable considering u top up another 4-5k u ended up with a D segment rival vehicle. more space and greater presence. i sat at the back and i never been in a civic backseat before and i am struggling to understand honda said they made the interior bigger despite the shortened wheelbase and width.

subject to divine intervention on the price issue, i cannot see this to overtake FD sales although yes it will sell.

Previous Hybrid Civic is bout 108k.

noticed that the current civic doesnt comes with speed lock...was told msian government instructed honda to remove this feature due safety...was quoted rm320 to install it.

What u mean no lock/unlock button? Then how do u unlock?

i've seen the hybrid once. built quality and refinement is surprisingly good, even compared to the 1.8 and 2.0 i guess this is where the japan marques pawn the koreans. quality.

I've seen at least 6 to 7 hybrid units on the road, which is rather surprising because I actually expected to see more 2.0s instead. I think the reason is because you pay a lot less money for almost as good features for the 2.0s, I think.

the new civic is now made in Malaysia.. 60% local content...
so how is 137k justifiable?

when a new lancer from japan is 120k,
or a new cruze is around 100k?
or a 308 turbo from france is 130k?

how come local is not cheaper?
isnt it they are earning more out of this?

and before saying that gov is protecting proton or whatever...

remember honda is under DRB ( GLC )
Naza is also a bumiputera..

and heck most auto companies in malaysia is a GLC - goverment linked companies...

so how come is this CIVIC so expensive?
