the warranty time not control by dealer. for asus dealer can't help you improve the servics time. special use the pick-up servics. dealer just for sell only. warranty also help you send back to factory. or hope you can find the dealer on under warranty can one to one exchange.
exp.

Added on February 9, 2012, 7:22 pmyes. i check many acer notebook on computer shop. if check with detail. most has one-three dead pixel. that can't warranty. But i don't acer how to sell it. but most buyer don't known and not check with detail, so not see the dead pixel.

after using several time, look the screen, ah... why the 'dust' can't be clean ? problems come. acer tell you the dead pixel policy.

Dear mfitri77,

First and foremost, we highly value your feedback.

However, in order for us to further justify your claim for us to act, perhaps you can provide us more details of the case (the one that involves Aspire 4830TG). Please do allow us to know which highpoint branch you are referring to that inform you all the repair must only be carried out at our HQ in Subang Jaya.

At the same time, Acer provides warranty claim for LCD above certain amount of dead pixels (as shown in our warranty T&C), same goes to other manufacturers. If your warranty claim has been rejected by our branches though the criteria has been met, do let us know the unit details for instance the serial number and case # if any.

In addition, we would like to assign a personnel to personally visit your shop to further understand and assist you with your dissatisfaction towards our after sales service. Please do let us know the best way for us to contact you if you do agreed in order for us to make arrangement.

Once again, your feedback is much appreciated.

Regards,
HSN

I have Asus, Dell and HP. Honestly, Dell does give a very good after sell service. They send a technician to my office and change the part for me on the spot. Very fast and free cause under warranty.
*
Yep. Thats why most of my installation contracts are Dells. Save me the cost of sending my own technician to come and do warranty claims.

The after sales service that I do provide hinges on who is providing the service. If Asus plays you, then nothing much I can do also. Which is my I now mostly do Apple, HP, Dell and Lenovo. Just to be on the safe side, and most of my customers are satisfied. Especially those that bought Dell, yes, the local service does slant a lot in their favor. We like that also, because less hassle for us, and more convenient for you (I mean, you're not always going to be able to come to my shop to send the unit anyway, right biggrin.gif ) Anyway, PM me if there is anything I could help you with.

Too little, too late. I took back the unit in question, refunded the customer so he could buy something else (a Dell, FYI) and sold the unit here as used, and at a loss for me. Losing money hurts, but my reputation is worth more. All this happened in June 2011 (http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1919915&hl=), that is the last Acer I've sold, and I have stopped recommending Acer to my customers after that.

You knew margins these days are razor thin, but the way you treat customers effect us resellers more than you think. Especially those of us running shops in small towns, word about your service goes around town very fast. So thank you for the offer, but I don't sell Acer no more, so no point in you coming down to see little old me.

Some food for thought.

Acer Cheap

Seriously? I'll be lost in the avalanche of people pushing their products here, plus my whole business is Seremban based. No point in competing with the KL market, unless its my regulars or selling off used items or things I can't sell in my market.

Plus some of my regulars don't like it when I post items here for sale anyway. brows.gif

Sama Iinnssiiddee:: ASUS Malaysia..please check my service no 6257115..why ASUS pickup service still didn't collect my notebook? i've been opened this case since January 26th, 2012 and until know nobody from asus pick up service collect my faulty notebook. I've been calling asus teknical centre at 0362795077 and asus pick up and return service at 0321456787 for so many time and everyday to remind them to collect my notebook. But they still not collect my notebook, why your warranty service very BAD one..your staff just only entertain me but NOTHING ACTION had been taken...ARE YOU JUST SELLING YOUR PRODUCT BUT DON'T WANT TO RESPONSIBLE FOR WARANTY? Is that how you run your bussiness?

QUOTE
Sama Iinnssiiddee:: yup agree with you..you can check link here the proof that ASUS warranty service is really bad http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2212590&hl ...compare to DELL it's really like chocolate and shit, my ASUS pick up service is really lousy one and still didn't pick up and they give reason public holiday...holiday...holiday...not sure how long my notebook will repair when reach to the warranty office...4 month? 1 year??no wonder malaysian government still stick with DELL or Compaq..although compaq always problem, but they warranty still tip top...

Asus Malaysia Dear Sama, following on our reply above. Do you mind to provide us your Service Number for our quick reference? Thank you.

QUOTE
Sama Iinnssiiddee:: my service number is 6257115 but FYI, i already send my faulty notebook by using poslaju. it's cost me at RM24.00, since it's really take too long for me to wait for your side to pick up my notebook. the transportation for taking my notebook it's consider lousy already, i couldn't imagine how long my notebook will going to fix if already at your place...any posibility i can get my refund on courier charge?..
QUOTE
Asus Malaysia Dear Sama, thank you for your Service Number. Meanwhile, as for the courier charges claim, currently we do not offer any refund policy in case the end user delivered by hand or other courier service. However, your feedback on our Pick Up & Return Service shall be reviewed to further improve our service.

SO, I think most user choice asus brand now. asus one year sell up t0 10,000,000 unit notebook. I think asus not care about 'one' customer and not need improve the warranty sevics, i think that a main point.

and i think not more user believe your complain case too. but I trust, because I has same exp.
