what is the maximum distance range for forte to detect the remote control to unlock and lock? thx

ard 2m only if press the button on the door. press on remote, it will longer.

planning to get forte soon. what should I take note when collecting the car? anything that I should be extremely aware of besides using the checklist? thx

chill out bro, i'm not saying you can't ask, you are free to ask, but what i'm saying is very simple - you are going to buy a sports car (or a sports-car-like sedan) which is the forte koup. Asking about FC is funny because typically those who buy sports car won't question about FC, everything else if you ask like handling, safety, etc would make more sense but FC is indeed funny..imagine going to the ferrari dealership asking for how's the FC compare to X car...if you can spend that kind of money (ok, Koup is way cheaper, but you get the idea), i think FC is not that big a deal

Getting mine from 070, friendly-chap, went to JPJ bought number, then tomolo buy number from KTM too. My car arrived today, not yet register to system yet, so most probably will be getting next Wed. Great discount package from 070. Delivering and keeping whats being promised. Its a 1.6 SX T.Silver by da way.

Inspected the car, ok from exterior. Inside wise, started the engine, very quiet. But 1 thing I notice was, the Trip Meter tarak information though I turned on the right side light (twist twist up and down) and also tekan the Trip button. On the light also no come out. What happen ah? Is it must put to D-mode only come out?

SA not in country. Any advise? Need put in D only can ah?? Thx

Go in the car, close the door, start the car. No need to twist the light setting, you are able to see the information cycle by pressing the trip button.

One thing i notice is the idle engine noise is quite good, but once at 4k rpm and above it gets slightly louder than other cars i've driven. No big deal though

any ideal will the kia customer day be postponed to to june? my SA told me i have to completely register my forte in order to entitle the cash RM1K rebate; sign the loan agreement doesn't entitle if the car isn't registered.

is this true or my SA is trying to con me as I plan to get WWV or WWW number plate.

Hey, thx for the reply, bro. I think I mentioned it wrongly. Its the meter illuminator (RPM, Speed etc) lights not popping out. Suppose to be the red LED come out, I turned the headlights and the switch controller on the right, the LED didnt seem to come out at all. Just nothing. Sorry, not the trip meter info-display. What happen ah?

Thats strange. Why didnt you ask another SA in the showroom at that time? By right even if you didnt turn on the headlight the speedometer, rpm meter and fuel gauge meter should light up

Mmmmmm, no SA around that time, only admin staff n she's not the technical person. So, what you saying is, by right when starting engine, the LED shud pop out? Ok, will reconfirm again soon. I see. Yes all the meters including the information LCD screen will light up when you start the car.

Even if you scroll the switch to the lowest setting the light will still be on, just dimm. Still noticable especially still in showroom.

depend bah some people may feel it like no light when it is on minimum setting so no harm to have a try on it

personal experience: got one time after the car wash on noon then the speedometer suddenly no light or can say minimum light, though got what problem tat time because before car wash all seem normal, after checking only find out the worker scroll it to lower setting.so have it scroll it back to normal
