Added on July 13, 2012, 3:50 pmI don't think toggle is the right word to use coz it doesn't switch fully to AF or MF if you are on the other mode. you have to hold it while using it... else it will just roll back to whatever mode you were in... with that, if you wanna switch fully, only way (i think) is via the menu. unless i am wrong... any other nex 7 users please correct me.

You can enable AF/MF toggle as far as I have read. I don't have a NEX-7 though.

Anyone attended the NEX Basic lesson organized by Sony Style before or not?

Is that right? Let me consult my manual... If that's the case, I will no longer need to use the menu button at all! Yay!

its a good workshop to teach u all the basic things u need to know. but bear in mind it is basic but it comes with free voucher that time i attended.

I want Nex 6 - Nex 7 body with Nex 5N sensor. Anyone else?

I'm not happy with NEX7 high ISO and the purple fringing on legacy wide angle lens (appears on my Samyang 8mm fish eye lens)
Now waiting for the Home Minister approval to jump ship to OM-D, as reviews show that OM-D high ISO is almost as good as 5N, plus the Pan 12-35 f2.8 is too tempting for a single lens walk-a-bout camera

Actually you move from 5n to 7?

I love to have the 12-35 f2.8 which will beat the Nex with f3.5-5.6 anytime. But that lens is RM4,000+... which is quite hard for me to digest because Canon 17-55mm f2.8 is being known as ridiculously expensive can cost RM3,200... the Canon L build 24-105 f4 is around RM3.3k. So very hard to digest the price for this Panny 12-35... later the 35-100 come out I think it will be above RM5k... Some more Nex 5N with the kit cost only so little at RM2.2k. Not even enough to buy the OM-D.

BTW, next Wednesday we will have big announcement from Panasonic on new camera and lenses. Counting every minute down now!

Actually I moved from Nex 5 to Fuji X100 to Nex 7....

How much you got your Nex 7 for? Body only?

on a77, there are ton of button, will be good if there is video show how to make use of this button efficiently in special shooting environment condition

900 sharp but to be honest... i still have much to learn on this lens...
and macro lens glass at front seems more flat than the other
i went to the flora expo in cyberjaya past few weeks... most of my photo is over exposure...
maybe i should make the aperture smaller...
