People, i saw a brand new d5100 selling at rm1.8k. The seller claim that it has 1 year Nikon Malaysia warranty. Is this too good to be true or what ? Sifu please advice

Knowing that Im a girl, I want to get a camera that has beauty effect function. Like those in photoshop. what I have in mind is CASIO ZR1000. Unfortunately because of its lack of service centre in Malaysia, many dealers are refused to take order for me to avoid any problem occur later. it will b a huge problen to send it back to japan to repair

cansomeone pls suggest me other camera? Price range around 1k to 1.3k.

That Sony is good for the extra zoom (if you need it)
Otherwise you can just stick to a Canon S100/S110 or Nikon P310.
Pretty good performers at the price; and can be easy-to-use to fully manual, depending on your liking

First of all,I am just a entry level .

I am not interested playing camera as hobbies..I know many people like to snap photo all around even bring it like a baby. but my purpose using camera when going travelling or some special event or big day.

Lastly I own a nikon j1. But unfortunately my sister lose it.not more than half a year.

I hv fun with using this camera,bcos it not complex compare to others.

Phew..going to buy another new one. Any recommend.

Same as above, try and get the Canon Powershot S100 or S110 or a Nikon P310~
they can be very simple to use, and can be fully manual as well when you feel the need.
The relatively larger aperture will enable better photos in the dark
